Tedious Warning: Spoilers
It starts with the lead Sarah coming out of a nightclub with some annoying blonde who she says goodbye to and ends up on a train next day to the middle of nowhere to caregive some catatonic old lady. She is met Albert (a neighbour) and has to escort her on a boat to some island house to start the job.

Then the movie really is just Albert acting creepy and Sarah hearing noises and wandering around the house either repeating the words "Grace" or "Albert". Couple of flashbacks which shows why Grace is catatonic. Concludes with a twist I didnt really see coming as I had lost interest in this about half way through. The twist is where you believe Sarah is in peril from Albert and the house. But she is a murderer and had murdered her last caregiving job old lady.

Conclusion: The lead actress was far to slim and Albert far to wooden. Rest of movie was Incredibly dull in parts and to dark in others. Not recommended.

Slow paced and uneventful...

As I sat down here in 2024 to watch the 2022 movie "Saving Grace", I had never actually heard about it. But the movie's synopsis sounded interesting enough. And with it being a horror/thriller that I hadn't already seen, of course I managed to find the time to sit down and watch it.

The storyline in "Saving Grace", as written by Gareth Carr and David Sullivan, was somewhat of a stale experience. The narrative was insanely slow paced and uneventful, and that made sitting through 90 minutes of watching the movie quite an ordeal. And I have to admit that I was close to giving up on the movie several times throughout the prolonged course of the movie.

"Saving Grace" was an uneventful and slow paced viewing experience, and for a horror/thriller, the only thing scary here was how boring the movie was.

I wasn't familiar with the cast ensemble in the movie, but the actors and actresses put on fair enough performances, despite the fact of having very little to work with in terms of a proper storyline.

If you enjoy horror/thriller movies, then "Saving Grace" is not worth the 90 minutes that it runs for. Your money, time and effort is better spent elsewhere, trust me.

My rating of "Saving Grace", from directors Gareth Carr and David Sullivan, lands on a very generous three out of ten stars.

Albert Loves Sarah.

-1 Star right off the bat for using a WAY OVERUSED TITLE. There's plenty of ways to change your title to make it unique don't you know???

It always sucks when a friend dies. It's even worse when you have to see them die in front of you. Grace's friend dies. Grace is on a train bound for wherever. We will try to care about Grace, for now.

Oh wait that's not Grace! That's Sarah! Grace is the silent old lady at the cottage that Sarah is going to get to take care of. At the solo empty island cottage where Grace was just lying paralyzed in a bed by herself just waiting for Sarah to get there. Huh? -1 Star

But Sarah starts seeing things around the cottage. Is someone else there? Ahh I guess there is Albert. Six years ago Grace was out with her sister and their sisterly competition got the better of them. Sister Ada died in a cliff diving accident.

Time goes by and Sarah finds Grace has the ability to move around, apparently. Albert does not believe Grace! This is all very shocking!

So much hilarity ensues. Sarah finds out there might be a problem with Albert, the caretaker. And really not a lot of moments worth talking about.

Oop. Here we go! A bathtub scene! Sarah in the tub and a record starts playing! Grace must be up and moving about again! Okay so this is some entity attacking here? Well they broke a rule. Bathtub scene with no naughty bits is a -1 Star.

So Albert is a creepy perv who likes to take pictures of the women sent there to care for Grace. Oh wait but Sarah turns out to be quite the weirdo herself. Okay the movie gets a little SAVING GRACE by having Sarah be a weirdo. Haha. See what I did there? +1 Star

3/10.
