First of all, it is watchable thanks to its cinematography. Second, the actors involved do a decent job. However, the story is criss-cross to say the least. At the end one feels like: 'Huh?' It is what it is: a well photographed film with moderate acting, confusing story and a happy ending.

This is bad Training day rip off. The acting is not the best. The main protagonist Jack (Robert Palmer Watkins) seemed more robotic than human. The confusing flashback scenes do little to enhance the film.
There is as much chemistry between Jack & Beth (Deborah Lee Smith) as the current US President & his first lady. The only way in which to enjoy this film is to laugh at how unintentionally humourous it is.

On the positive side, the cinematography was well done for an independent film. It looked good. Also, the love story in the beginning worked for me. In fact, that was the best part of the film.
In the middle, the acting was descent, but not great.
On the negative side, the story had a lot of problems. To start with the out-of-sequence events made it impossible to follow what was actually happening. In addition, there was little plot structure and no discernable theme other than a struggling couple works it out in the end. But the plot had little to do with them actually working it out. I had a hard time seeing how the events of the movie and the ending were related.
The story would have been better served being told in a straight forward way without the out-of-sequence memories which made it very confusing. And it would have been better as a love story than an action/thriller. I found myself glad to see the flash back scenes throughout the movie when they were studying in the library. The only problem was, I had no idea how they related to the plot, or how the four loves came into play. If that was the point of the movie, it needed to be more fully drawn out.
At the end of the day, I wasn't sure what exactly happened or why. Better story structure would have made this a good film.

Last three days starts with "7 years ago" when Harry met Sally and Jack (Robert Palmer Watkins) met Beth (Deborah Lee Smith). Jack is on the police force working narco undercover with Dave (Thomas Wilson Brown) who does not do things by the book. Dave wants to bust the Yaku which is not approved by the department. Jack hesitates. Beth is off the deep end because she hasn't sen Jack in 6 whole days!. Jack ends up drugged and loses three days which he remembers in a confusing non-chronological order that turned the film into an unwatchable confusing mess.

I'm a 'movie guy'. I love low-budget 'B-Movies', big budget movies and everything in between. But, I don't like THIS movie. I watched 25-30 minutes and finally said 'enough'. It's just a very poorly done and scattered film. There's nothing here to get you interested and to keep you interested. It's like the writers had a drunk weekend and wrote some incoherent babble and then found someone with more dollars than sense to back it.

I just don't get what was the whole point, it just sucks so hard that I can't believe this has been done intentionally - surely something went horribly wrong somewhere, there has to be some excuse for the lack of any intelligence.

Wasn't sure what to expect but thought I'd give it a go.
Sadly it was a major let down, I wasn't sure if I'd missed something but based on the other reviews it seems like I hadn't.
Overall poor, would not recommend at all.

A confusing jumble of events for the plot, miserable acting by all, and cinematography that appears to be shot for a grade d television show. I don't want to waste more time writing about it. Don't waste your time watching it.

You've got to pay careful attention to the date on the watch in this film. With that tip in mind you'll follow the storyline and enjoy the acting, the "mama-san" of the Yaku gang, is top notch character acting as well as Deborah Lee Smith's sympathetic portrayal of lead Beth.

I was pleasantly surprised with the movie. There's some action, but it's not an action movie.
There's some possible time traveling, but it's not a time travel movie per se.
There's some mystery and romance too. But it doesn't fall into those categories either. Overall, I think it's decent B-flick that tells a decent story and has a message. I enjoyed it.

The cast and cinamtography is good but the story is completely lost. It seemed that the even the writer and director did not knew how to bring climax and anticlimax. What wasteful waste of time. This movie bored me. Especially the whole how we met, love scene, it was just too much time spent/wasted. Ok, we get it, guy meets girl, they fall in love. I suffered through anyway while scrolling through social media. Then, we get to some suspenseful parts that pull you in to pay attention, only to get to the most unsatisfying ending of a movie I've ever seen - and I have seen some bad ones, but this takes the cake.
I am typically the type to enjoy films like this with a meaning on a level beyond what others can see, but this one was just dumb plain and simple. I really did not enjoy this movie and can't believe I watched the entire thing. What a waste.

There is no other way to put it. This movie is just terrible and poorly written. The main character is pathetic and unlikeable & his partner is the definition of scum bag. The way he treats his wife is terrible too. Nothing makes you want to support the main character or like him. The only person I feel bad for is his wife for getting roped into such nonsense thanks to a fool who doesn't show that he values her at all. If you're looking for a good movie to watch, this isn't it. If you want to laugh at stupidity and terrible writing, then this is the movie for you.

I started watching and thought about turning it off because it was so bad. I thought "5 more minutes ....... ", and then the next thing I know, I'm missing 3 days .... did I watch the whole movie? Did I see the end? Is Dave really dead? Is Beth kidnapped? Is Jack in the hospital? WTH just happened!!?? I don't know ... I'm confused as ever!! This was the most awful movie! Your time would be better spent trying to figure out what the current President is saying when he jibber jabbers ... I mean talks!! I should have come and read these reviews before I wasted any time watching this awful movie!!!

So the average 3.5 rating it has today is about right, I gave it a 3.
The movie does not know what it wants to be. It moves between being a love story, failing badly.at that, and a action crime drama, failing at that too, a scifi time traveling dumbness failing there too.
They actually had the budget and decent actors, just really really really bad writing and story telling.

The lead character has a cell phone. Whenever the cell phone is NOT broken, he is in the past and can change it. If they cell phone is shown broken, he is in the present and the present is set.
It will switch back and forth with no rhyme or reason.
I stopped caring what happened to anyone halfway thru the ordeal.
There is a hot oriental chick with the.chinese triad who is the highlight of the movie. The triad members are believable. Wasted talent.
The movie is jarring and ends is a whimper of an ending that explains nothing.
By the way, we are never told why he is able to time jump. We are left to wonder if it is magic, scifi, a weird oriental drug he is tricked into taking, or something else. Just not covered at all.
My wife cursed me out after seeing this movie. I cannot post her words without this being flagged.

Last Three Days is the prototype type for the modern action film. Since it's also one of the best action films ever made, that happens to be a very good thing. Last Three Days is lean, mean, and doesn't contain a single second of wasted screen time. The direction, the action, the story, the acting every aspect of this film comes close to big-budget action movie the Last Three Days has it all 10/10. already looking forward to

It is light years ahead of another recent time travel film based on ingesting a chemical. This was basically a love story with a messed up story. There is no pretense of an Oscar here. Comparing it to Synchronic is like saying a man with a nickel is richer than a man with a penny.
Synchronic could have been a decent sci-fi film. It had Anthony Mackie. More money. And a great story line. But poor writing doomed it with too many logical flaws, failure to develop characters, and lack of heart.
Save your time. Avoid both. But this does have a flawed love story.
