Experimental is the perfect word to describe this because guessing that it wasn't designed to be easy to watch, i'm saying that because after watching it i'm shaken down pretty badly (in a good way). Its intense as hell, I can only imagine that watching this in a cinema would have really scrambled people's minds. This is gonna be polarizing for some people I know but I liked it. In the terms of the plot (i'm not giving anything away here) almost nothing actually happens and yet everything happens at once, there is such overwhelming stimulation from the visuals and the sound design that it hurt my head after a while. Although its directionless with its story it wears it on its sleeve and it works all the better for it. Half the discomfort just comes from the anticipation of something happening and all that sound design is just making me wanna shield my ears at every opportunity in the movie. This ain't a film for movie traditionalists, if you enjoy David Lynch movies or minimalist cinema or something like that then give it a watch. No dialogue is a lovely touch, this is bar none the loudest silent film i've ever seen.
