This is a real clunker in James Avalon's Sweet Sinner series about the swingers phenomenon. The screenplay makes no sense (credited to Taj Maddox, whoever that is) and the sex scenes cold and remote.
Story concerns an unhappy marriage of Casey Calvert and Marcus London, he a philanderer carrying on a 3-year affair with Ash Hollywood. She wants him to drop his wife and marry her, with Casey's inheriting a fortune a disincentive to that happening, and for her part Casey is clueless to her spouse's cheating.
Story is mainly told via chats between Casey and her BFF Natalia Starr as they exercise, beginning with a flashback of Starr humping boyfriend Mr. Pete at a party for swingers.
Casey mentions such a party hosted by another of her friends to her husband, and he concocts a scheme (the logic of which I could not understand) to try and solve his "two significant others" problem.
He takes Casey to a swingers party at the "Immoral Proposal" mansion with Ash also attending, but she flees, first aghast running from the living room at the sight of many folks nonchalantly having sex, and later from the master bedroom due to same, including co-star Valentina Nappi (who has no character and no dialog to play, just hired for sex) serviced by Jake Taylor on the bed.
Followup has a dinner party for four with swapping, Marcus going off with Ash while Casey has sex with Ash's date, young Tyler Nixon. This leads to a cryptic ending, leaving hanging whether Marcus' obscure plot succeeded or not.
Avlalon's Warholian approach to sex, the cold, aloof gaze of the ultimate voyeur, drains the movie of any energy.
