No love for this one from me

Warning: Spoilers
Here we have the music video for the song "I Want Your Love" by recent Academy Award winner Lady Gaga. Still don't like the sound of that. Anyway, this one runs for under 3.5 minutes and has her cooperate with director Nick Knight, with whom she worked before on her erhaps career-defining song. Knight is otherwise known for his collaborations with Björk. This is a mix of music video and fashion show as we see some new outfits by designer (and Golden-Globe nominated filmmaker) Tom Ford in here. So yeah if you have an interest in the world of fashion, then maybe this one is for you. Othrwise, i.e. if you care about fashion as much (or I should say "little) as I do, then the best choice may be to skip this one. Of course your perception of Lady Gaga also plays a crucial role here. As you may have read already from my words at the beginning of this review, I am not a fan, even if I deem some of her early stuff catchy at least. But it is beyond me how anybody can really see quality in this song. It is as empty, meaningless and shallow (no pun intended) as it gets with her constantly reciting the 4 words from the title. All in all, this did absolutely nothing for me and I see it as another exhibit for Gaga being the biggest style-over-substance artist on the planet right now and actually for quite a while. Skip both the watch and listen. Highly not recommended.
