- Ralph Dibny: We'd make a fortune. An improv group make of superheroes? We can take it to Washington. We'd be the DC Comics.
- Cisco Ramon: No, Ralph.
- Ralph Dibny: First rule of improv is say yes.
- Barry Allen: Would it kill you to take training seriously?
- Ralph Dibny: Would it kill you to open up your mind grapes just a little?
- Cisco Ramon: He can't blast because he's getting older?
- Caitlin Snow: Mm-hmm. Powers like yours require a lot of energy. And when that energy starts to dwindle...
- Cisco Ramon: The vibe blasts are... the first things to go.
- Caitlin Snow: I think you have to tell him.
- Cisco Ramon: He's never, ever gonna let me see Gypsy again if I tell him. He's probably gonna send a knife flying through my skull if I tell him.
- Caitlin Snow: He might. But it's the right thing to do.
- Ralph Dibny: I know this is serious. I watched... I watched Izzy die in front of me. I'm scared out of my mind.
- Barry Allen: Well, you know, you got an odd way of showing it.
- Ralph Dibny: Yeah, well, not everybody grew up with a superdad like Joe West who makes it easy to talk about your feelings. When I was ten years old, my dad walked out on me and my mom. And I was terrified. But my mom, she was even more afraid. So, you know, I just started making jokes. Started doing stupid gags and funny bits and whoopie cushions. Anything to push her fear away. And the thing is, after a while I started to push my fear away, too.
- Barry Allen: I had no idea, Ralph.
- Ralph Dibny: It's not that I don't care about beating DeVoe. It's not that I don't care about being a great hero. It's just that ever since then, anytime that I'm afraid, I either hide or I make jokes.
- [last lines]
- Gideon: Good evening, Dr. Wells. It's been 1,078 days since we last spoke. How can I be of service?
- Dr. Harry Wells: Hello, Gideon. A lot has changed since then.
- Clifford DeVoe: How was your rest, my love?
- Marlize DeVoe: Wonderful. I've never felt more rejuvenated and ready to realize our dream.
- [Izzy coughs]
- Marlize DeVoe: Clifford.
- Clifford DeVoe: The added combination of dark matter from all our subject metas is overwhelming this host's body.
- Marlize DeVoe: How long do we have?
- Clifford DeVoe: At the present rate, exactly one week's time.
- Marlize DeVoe: No. I will not allow it. It may be possible to adjust the biomass index, recalibrate the energy distribution, extend your current host's life.
- [switching her computer screens]
- Marlize DeVoe: Odd. There are already plans for such an adjustment partially designed.
- Clifford DeVoe: I attempted the same course of action.
- Marlize DeVoe: Well, you got quite a good start. I will be able to complete the designs in under an hour. Rest, my love. I will handle everything.
- Clifford DeVoe: You always do.
- Barry Allen: You were great out there tonight, man.
- Ralph Dibny: Thank you. I had a lot of help. And I had a great teacher.
- Barry Allen: You helped me realize that I can't always take everything so seriously. Even when it comes to Thinker.
- Ralph Dibny: Wait a second. Are you telling me that I, Ralph Dibny, taught Barry Allen, superhero extraordinaire, a lesson? What could this mean?
- Barry Allen: Means you're a great hero. And you make this team better by being on it.
- Ralph Dibny: Ah, the circle is now complete. When I came here, I was but the learner. Now I am the master.
- Barry Allen: It's also good to be humble.
- Ralph Dibny: But how can I be humble...
- [inflating his chest]
- Ralph Dibny: When I am swollen with pride?
- Barry Allen: [in the Pipeline] This is an interesting place to hang out.
- Ralph Dibny: You come here to suck the fun out of being benched?
- Barry Allen: I... no, I came for your help, actually.
- Ralph Dibny: You want help from the guy who can't take anything seriously?
- Barry Allen: Look, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have been so quick to judge. But with DeVoe so many steps ahead of us, it just... to see you joking around in the middle of this just made me feel like you weren't taking it seriously.
- Clifford DeVoe: You always save it under the same name. Every time, you discover it. It's quite clever, really. I would expect nothing less from you.
- Marlize DeVoe: How many times have I been through this?
- Clifford DeVoe: Too many. But that is of no concern. Because with tears from the Weeper mixed with Dominic Lanse's powers, I can alter your memory.
- Marlize DeVoe: So that's why you created the Weeper. You didn't need a potential host. He was...
- Clifford DeVoe: For you. Yes. I knew that the same thing in you that I fell in love with had the potential to destroy us: your humanity. I couldn't let that get in the way of us achieving our goal. The Enlightenment.
- Marlize DeVoe: Clifford, I am your wife...
- [a mechanical arm appears and injects a needle into her temple]
- Clifford DeVoe: And I love you. But you are nothing without me.
- Barry Allen: What?
- Iris West-Allen: Nothing. It's just... you went out into the field, you had a plan, and... it didn't work.
- Barry Allen: But they do for DeVoe. Harry's not wrong. DeVoe's gone over every possible outcome before making his plans.
- Iris West-Allen: Which we can't do, and neither can Harry.
- Barry Allen: Well, then what are we supposed to do? I mean, you just want us to ad-lib like Ralph wants us to?
- Iris West-Allen: Barry, you didn't see it, but when you were gone, Ralph rose to the occasion. He cracked jokes. He thought outside the box. I mean, he got the job done in the way that he knows how. So, the question is, are you upset with Ralph because you think he's screwing around or because he's not following your plan?
- Barry Allen: What happened?
- Joe West: Robbery. Stole the Kahndaq Dynasty family crown. It was brought here for the museum exhibition. The security guard said that it was being transported in a steel-plated crate, weighs about 200 pounds. Suddenly disappeared without a trace, and then reappeared completely smashed.
- Barry Allen: So was anything else missing in the museum?
- Joe West: Just the crown. Nothing else is missing.
- Ralph Dibny: Should I, uh, stretch around the perimeter? Check things out?
- Barry Allen: No, no. I mean, I can tell from here, to cause that type of impact, the case had to be moving at at least 55 miles per hour.
- Joe West: So we're looking for a meta with super strength.
- Barry Allen: I mean, maybe. Are there fingerprints on the case?
- Joe West: I'll have them dust it, send the results in.
- Ralph Dibny: Why wait? I can just, uh, grab the tape. Get the prints right now.
- Barry Allen: [he starts to use his powers] No, hey.
- Jay the Security Guard: [carrying a large vase with Bob] It was definitely Killer Frost, and she looked at me.
- Barry Allen: [gently shoving his shoulder] Ralph!
- [Ralph's arm whips up and knocks the vase out of the security guards' hands]
- Jay the Security Guard: Dude! I need this job!
- Ralph Dibny: Allen! Look what you did.
- Breacher: Cisky.
- Cisco Ramon: Breacher?
- Breacher: [grabbing his throat and pushing him against the wall] I need your help.
- Cisco Ramon: Little bit of a mixed message here.
- Cisco Ramon: I'm curious, have you never looked at a mirror before?
- Breacher: I'm not a teenage girl!
- Cisco Ramon: OK, you are not a teenage girl!
