On the 28th day, January 2, the fourth Thursday, the film earned in the range of 5.5 – 6 crore in total, bringing a fourth week of almost 70+ crore in India. Allu Arjun still has some records left, but he has nailed another achievement at the box office.

Mumbai, March 28 (Ians) Telugu superstar Allu Arjun has completed two decades in the film industry and has said that he is what he is because of the love of the fans.

Arjun took to Instagram, where he shared the note on Tuesday and captioned it with a joined hands emoji.

“Today, I complete 20 years in the film industry. I am extremely blessed & have been showered with love. I am grateful to all my people from the industry. I am what I am bcoz of the love of the audience, admirers and fans. Gratitude forever.”

Arjun, who is one of the highest paid actors in India, made his debut with Gangotri in 2003. He rose to prominence starring in Sukumar’s cult classic Arya in 2004.

Almost every movie that comes from the house of Harish Shankar revolves around the male protagonist. The female lead’s screen-time, in his films, is dependent on the star status of the male actors they are paired with. In Subramanyam For Sale, Regina Cassandra was an integral part of the story. However, Gabbar Singh’s Shruti Haasan and Duvvada Jagannadham’s Pooja Hegde are pushed to the ranks of spice girls as Pawan Kalyan and Allu Arjun are bigger draws at the box office.

The Allu Arjun starrer Duvvada Jagannadham completed the censorship process and has been given a UA certificate.

With the censors done, the film’s release on June 23 is now confirmed. The shooting of this flick began last year with plans to have it released at the theatres on May 19.

However, some delays had forced the filmmakers to consider a June 23 release. Slotted for the Eid weekend release, the film will now cash in on the long weekend.

Allu Arjun is almost done with Duvvada Jagannadham and is gearing up to move on to his next.
