- Tensions arise between Jamie, Dillon and Harry as the truth about Mike's past surfaces. Jamie finally reaches breaking point. Meanwhile, Jack gets some good news whilst Indira helps Boggy.
- Jamie fantasizes that he's being interviewed by _____, but the fantasy is quickly dissolved when ___ asks him about his Grandads violent actions.
Dillon and Harry are still trying to provoke Jamie, but Jack is quick to remind Jamie that if he retaliates, he's off the squad.
During a school break, Indira tells Harry and Dillon that she thinks Mike and Hansard have a bad history. They speculate on whether they were rivals and set out to find more.
At the school gym, Hansard is shooting some hoops. Dillon and Harry approach him, intending to find out more about Mike, but get distracted when Hansard lets them know that a Hawkstone scout will be watching the Cup Match this afternoon, but to keep it to themselves.
At lunchtime, Boggy can't touch his food. When the others ask him what's wrong, it turns out Boggy is lovesick over Nancy, a girl he met online. In an attempt to help Boggy, Indira and Jack suggest that he meet her in person for a date - Indira offers to help Boggy look more presentable.
Ms Savage finds Dillon and Harry sneakily using the library computers unsupervised during lunch. They claim they're doing homework on football history, and she logs them into a Hawkstone members only website where they can find all kinds of history about players and games. Dillon and Harry find out that Mike inflicted an injury on Hansard during a match when they were younger. They print out the article and wait for Jamie in the boys toilets. They corner him and show him the article, knowing this will push him over the edge.
Back at her house, Indira gives Boggy a make over and some tips on what to say (or what not to say) when he meets Nancy. After adjusting his hair and removing his glasses, she takes a picture of his new look and sends it to Nancy, only to result in Nancy showing a lack of interest and Boggy with a broken heart.
After reading the article, Jamie runs home to find Mike in the garden. He confronts Mike about his past with Hansard. Mike tries to defuse the article, but Jamie is so angry that he refuses to listen to Mikes side of the story - he can't believe his grandad, his inspiration, could jeopardize somebody elses football career like that.
Jack in a desperate attempt to join the team, pleads with Hansard to be the teams new goalkeeper. Finally, Hansard listens and agrees to let her join!
Boggy and Jack try to reach out to Jamie, but he is too angry and upset about Mike to let it go.
In the changing room before the match, Jamie tries to make amends with Harry. But when Dillon walks in and shows them a video of Mike attacking Hansard, they continue to make snide remarks. Feeling ultra sensitive about his Grandads actions, Jamie struggles to keep his temper under control.
All through out the Cup match, Harry and Dillon continue to provoke Jamie about his Mike. They throw off the game by manipulating the other team into targeting Jamie. Jamie gets increasingly frustrated as the game becomes harder, he's working hard to keep his temper under wraps.
At the end of the match, the Hawkstone coach is interested in Dillon, and wants to scout him. Harry antagonizes Jamie over this, and finally Jamie has reached his limit. His temper boils over and he kicks a football from beneath Harrys foot, causing Harry a serious leg injury.
Jamie is excluded from school for a week.
