5 minutes into it and I know it's a low budget movie which is poorly acted. Script is unreal and speech is not natural going. In a nutshell, a lady agent avenges the killing of her friend and in the midst of the revenge, she becomes the hunted. The music throughout the movie seems tense but there's really not a lot to see except for the lady lead running around, at times walking around and looking around for anyone following her. It's slow and I used the forward button a lot. The strange thing about this movie is that there's no face to face conversation - just speaking over the phone. Bin not sure what this is supposed to achieve. There are also only a handful of people in this movie. Giving it 3 stars for soundtrack and scenery. There's really no reason to watch this movie.

Not Good

You need more than shaky cam and overly dramatic mood music to make a decent movie. You also need scenes and dialogue that let's the viewer figure thing out what's going on rather than have the characters spell it out to each other in their conversations. OTOH, when the scenes mostly just show a woman walking around aimlessly (with loud mood music) I suppose you need to let the audience know what's going on somehow.

This movie seems devoid of anything more than the most basic story telling craft.

If this truly is an experimental film, then the result of the experiment is that this is not a good way to make a film.

Fake Reviews and Ratings from Moviemaker

Fake reviews and ratings from the moviemaker, gave this film a higher rating than it deserved. It had a somewhat attractive woman, and beautiful scenery. Sufficiently suspenseful music. Reasonably adequate acting. But it was slow and boring, with a bad script. The lingo was dated and too folksy. The action was the worst I've seen since "Born Losers", the Billy Jack film. Seen on Tubi, the free streaming site, which now has live TV.

Lacked a good storyline

Warning: Spoilers
Actress played part well considering poor script. How would she keep getting found in middle of nowhere but never ditched her phone. Person at end of phone didn't add anything at all to story and just highlighted mobile issue. Kept me watching solely to see if she started asking questions as to how they found her. 4 people hunting over Europe and just happened to be in the town she was in after she had moved using buses trains and other so called evasive techniques. Totally unbelievable and a waste of a good actress. No real background at start or result at the end, and didn't really end at all just stopped.

I did enjoy commentary as it normalised the reality until it didn't.

zzzzzz

Oh dear, lots of running about like a bad student film. Unconvincing agent incapable of self defence, not even that good at running or hiding for that matter. Some nice location shots would have been helpful. I was able to spool thru the ridiculous, unnecessary flash backs. Awful film. I'd save your precious time unless you like watching a woman dressed in black getting chased by incompetent 'hit' men who really should look else where to earn a crust. A car chase might have livened it up a tad. But the budget obviously could not even produce a rental car. A dire piece of work that makes me wonder who put up the cash for this waste of cinema time.

Another hit from Raya Films!
peter-chocolate12 April 2022
A fantastic lead performance from Caroline Spence, which drives the story forward, filled with non-stop action, stunts, and beautiful cinematography from James Smith captivating the beauty and glory of Spain. An experimental film, with some faults, but overall is one that works well! Raya Films have certainly landed themselves another hit - one that's not to be missed! Highly recommend.

Suspense and intrigue until the end
pserrano-036334 February 2022
Fantastic psychological thriller that keeps the viewer in suspense of what is happening at every moment. Manages the expression of the fight against one's fears and the ability to draw strength and face head on. Totally recommended.

Atmospheric
pauldavidbrazill24 September 2022
Agent Kelly is a lovely looking, tense and atmospheric thriller with a dreamlike quality reminiscent of the film 'The Limey.' It has a sense of dislocation which reflects the protagonist's mood and mind set, which also gives the film an uneasy feeling. Agent Kelly is clearly an ultra-low budget film with a limited cast and crew, but it is also a great example of the 'KISS' maxim -' Keep it Short and Simple.' The film's limitations may be clear at times, but what is also apparent is the filmmakers' inventive way of dealing with, and even exploiting, those limitations. Agent Kelly is certainly an experiment, but it is an interesting and a successful one. The film's punk, indie spirit shines through. Pow!

Walk Lola Walk
drrothe21 September 2023
Warning: Spoilers
For those who have seen the German "Run Lola Run." this one is also about a woman in constant motion. It starts with a woman running through some woods from a couple guys who look alike (we later find out they're twins played by the same actor). Once they catch her, we jump to the title character (Caroline Spence, who also wrote) talking on the phone to "Ed," who seems to be her boss. She tells Ed she killed one of the guys who killed the first woman (a lot in this movie happens off-screen) and now she'll kill the others. Ed sounds pretty exasperated with her. Most of the rest of the movie is Agent Kelly walking around and sometimes riding in vehicles and sometimes running through some very scenic Spanish locations. She does a recurring voice over in which she mentions several times she's age 50---doesn't look her age, I guess we're meant to think. Her accent varies between American and British. She looks around a lot; there's a nice "It Follows" kind of vibe as we wonder if anyone passing by will turn out to be a villain. She doesn't seem particularly well prepared to deal with villains; when one guy chases her along a beach, she stops to take off a shoe so she can hit him with it, then throws it aside and keeps running. Eventually she's at a marina, picks out a yacht apparently at random and climbs in; how does she know the owner won't show up? There's another phone conversation (she never talks face to face with anyone in this) with we're not sure whom concerning we're not sure what, but he tells her where to find some explosives. After a while I was wondering if the whole movie was her imagination, especially at the end when (here's the spoiler part) what looks like the first woman (who's supposed to be dead) appears. At the end she's still walking. Whether you find this worth watching or not depends if you find Agent Kelly (at one point she says on the phone her first name is Doris, who knows if that's true or not) personally appealing; also the atmospheric electronic music helps it along. The dialogue sounds like self-parody (I guess deliberately). We also hear some radio conversation about what jobs women should have; the voices are pleasant to listen to. Too bad we never get to see what Ed looks like, he sounds pretty interesting on the phone. If she's a secret agent, I have to ask (along with the irate sheriff from "Live and Let Die") "On whose side?"
