It is hard to believe that the borderline mentally defective character played by Emily Deschanel was based on any real human being.
Thanks to modern technology, I can fast forward through all those incredibly obtuse scenes when Brennan (Deschanel) is telling the bereaved that God does not exist and that their loved one is just a lump of decomposing flesh. Also forward through all the other I-Am-A-Robot scenes where Brennan has no clue why she should feel love or compassion.
This show would have been better if it turn out that Brennan was Gormagon, and that was why Zach Addy became her disciple. I can believe Brennan a lot more as a serial killer than as a Mommy.
