A tense, well-crafted film
MBsMidnightGeeks7 November 2021
A tense, well-crafted film, which maintains a good sense of mystery throughout, that slowly unspools, revealing secrets from the past.

Truth is a well-crafted film set in an interview room with only two characters.

There are great performances by both Rachel Alig as the interviewer, and an intense Eric Paul Erickson as Xavier Faraday, who also wrote and directed the film.

What is it good for?

Warning: Spoilers
This is an intense movie. It is thought provoking and the dialogue & scenes are great. The viewer needs to concentrate as the dialogue is Quentin Tarantino-eque & they hurt deep figuratively & literally in this film.

Worth watching

Great script, great acting, worth watching. I was asked why I wanted to watch this in times of depression due to the pandemic. It was a reminder of what's happened in war times past and is probably still happening. It's a reminder of these current days could be worse.

My neighbor kept pushing me to watch this to prove a point of "It's not always what it seems." Boy, was she right. Thought provoking film that many should watch.

Unbelievable realistic acting, drama, suspense

Such emotion in both parts of the interrogator and the prisoner. You could feel it all the way through to the last second.

I was hesitant to watch this during a time of pandemic depression but I'm glad I did watch it from start to finish. Thought provoking, a reality check and great acting.
