Right out of the gate, "Star Wars Rebels" offers us one of the most explosive episodes yet. Starting off with an episode that directly takes off from an arc that we didn't see finished last time isn't something that they usually do, but to finally see the outcome of this Mandalorian civil war is something that I've been waiting for ever since Fenn Rau first appeared in the series. I'm glad to see that they are going directly into the action and not wasting time with setup, as we got a lot of that in the previous season. I was a little confused, and this may just be me, but I didn't know that we had ever heard about Sabine's father being a captive, but that might have been mentioned, and if it has then it's on me. The main thing is that they seem to have found their footing. This is a shorter season, which may point to the fact that they aren't going to waste time with unecessary episodic stuff and focus on the things that makes the series work, which is the crew and their individual arcs. This is a great beginning of the end to Sabine's arc, as well as a great beginning of the end to the entire series.
