This isn't a mediocre episode at all. It's just that half of the episode is really good and the other is disgusting and trash. The first half is really good and honestly (if that was a separate episode), it could go in 3rd place, between 10 in 2nd place and 4 in...well, 4th place. But the problem with the episode is everything to do with the second half. I don't like Ghost Bow, except for when it's Episode 6 when it's actually funny. Here, none of the jokes are funny, they are just bland and boring. The song is good, but it doesn't make up for anything since it's completely unnecessary. Although if it was necessary, then it could be better than Episode 7's song. Also, even the contest now is complete boring and it's just non-sensical. Like, Test Tube is smart, but the smart thing about him is the liquid, so why can he score it? (But the contest is better than the Bow stuff, honestly) There are a tad few moments which are sad, but the second half I can't remember any of them. Also, this one does the problem with Episode 13, where they mix comedy with serious moments and it ruins the episode a lot. Here's my ranking of the two halves:
1st half - 7/10 2nd half - 1/10.
Edit: I forgot to mention a problem in the 1st half of the episode, which makes the 1st half a 7/10 instead of an 8. Microphone acts weirdly rude to Balloon, almost as if he doesn't care about Balloon. You may say it was because of Taco, but Microphone doesn't want her advice here and then just acts rude. If Microphone instead simply attempted to shock Balloon, this wouldn't have to be addressed, but sorry. (BTW, all of the points above the edits still hold up)
