As per his usual modus operandi Lucifer Morningstar, is ploughing his own furrow straight through any police investigation, that Detective Decker assumes that he is partnering her on.
Lucifer is worried that someone else is stealing his thunder, and granting 'Favours' thereby doing him out of his 'Job', so he will track the miscreant down even if, he ends up where the criminal wants him to be.
Is there some form of emotional triangle between an ex Angel, demon and shrink, what could Amenadiel, Mazikeen, and Doctor Linda Martin, possibly have in common.
Charlotte Richards has decided possibly against her, worst wishes to make a change for the better, instead of being the Hot Shot Lawyer for the Mob, she is now batting for the opposition, in representing the District Attorney's office.
