Solid episode up until the last few minutes, which was just wild! The main storyline was intriguing and had a few wild moments itself. Though I'm concerned about the daughter, why does Laurene never seem to care where she is?!

THE start here is with some sort of big traffic collision scene. A burning car, and a girl is pulled out of the car barely in time to avoid being blown up and burned to death.
Okay so at some celebration for the HERO that pulled the girl out of the burning car... Mark. Everything is happy. But at his home, apparently his wife blew her head off with a rifle. So Lauren and crew are at the home, investigating this suicide.
They find some weird camera and bed setup at this side House that Mark keeps. They suspect that Mark has been up to no good at this place, and that his wife blew her head off because of it.
Mark is also the coach of the local swim team. So then Mark picks up CORA, who is walking home from swim practice. And Mark has to make a stop on the way. LOL...Mark drops CORA off at the police station, making a big show of it in front of Lauren and what kind of RIDE he could have given CORA.
+1 Star for Mark taking some frustration out on the Police..
But Karma catches up with Mark, as Maureen, one of his 'victims', catches up with him and takes him to the house and kills him. Just as Lauren shows up and Lauren doesn't do what she needed to do to stop it.
So I guess after that murder that Lauren allowed to happen right in front of her, that's a good time for the Mayor and Lauren to have some sex.
Sure Mark was a dirtbag, but did he deserve to be murdered with law enforcement present?? Definitely not. Well Frank and the police show up at Lauren's house in the morning to arrest Mayor Bertrand Steiner. They arrest the Mayor for withholding information about his own daughter's disappearance. So apparently the MAYOR is a suspect.
And that's how we end this one. I'm not really a fan at all of Lauren at this point. She breaks the law, doesn't enforce the law, and she also sleeps with a married man. I think she's the scumbag of this show.
