A Wolf's Dream

I watch tons of criminal series. 90% got a crappy story with a lot of plotholes. But I see them for the character portraits and the scenes. This got a beautiful enviroment and decent acting.

This early I don´t know the characters, but I get interested. That´s a good start. I hope its grows character-wise. The scenery is thou enough to watch it.

What catch me the most is the scenes in the forest and the feeling that I am there. I am from Sweden and love the outdoors. I love when it´s on telly to. IF it´s good. Rain. Lightning, clip. Good.

The narrative is also intruiging. Not excellent, but good enough!

I decided to brush up on my French, and began watching French detective movies. Imagine my bewilderment when the first two I watched- Le Foret and The Black Spot( Region Blanche)filmed in 2017, BOTH have: a forest a mysterious white wolf who shows the female detective where to find things murders missing young women a female detective in charge a woman involved in the mystery disappeared into the forest at a young age a newcomer male law official who takes part in the drama a mysterious drawn symbol found at the scene of crimes

The white wolf looks like "Ghost" in Game of Thrones, and must have won the lottery to have a simple "run through the woods, look concerned" in both films. However, he got zero credits in the casting review.:-/

Why was there no uproar about the similarities? Copyright violation? Plagiarism?

Will I encounter a third similar film?

Otherwise, it was a good way to be entertained by lidtening to French language with English subtitles.

This was a weird one but I was strangely captivated. This detective is either fearless or an idiot, just running around the woods regardless of day or night. My only complaint, is how did that suspect get away?!
