It's the Backstory
futuretype3 April 2018
It is the backstory of the two leads that makes the plot interesting. We found out why he wants to make money and it is not for greedy self interest. She has a father that did not treat her nor her mother well hence why she is so distant from him and generally a cold fish all around. It is a wonder he finds her attractive at all.

It is interesting how many of these Hong Kong films show opulent living when there cannot be such spacious living quarters for most of its citizens. It as if the filmmakers have an obsession with showing what most cannot have. Perhaps that is part of the fantasy of making movies is to portray the unattainable. Or maybe it is some kind of propaganda. I hope they can move pass this to provide more common person interest stories living in cramped spaces trying to etch out a living while being challenged to maintain their core values.

Proving the Adage that a Good Man Is Hard to Find
Uriah4315 June 2019
This film begins with an attractive and extremely wealthy woman named "Katrina" (Sammi Cheng) walking into the corporation she manages and finding her fiancé by the name of "Qin Feng" (Terence Yin) having a clandestine affair with one of her employees. Needless to say, this infuriates her to the point that she decides to give up on men entirely and focus instead on having a baby through artificial insemination. So after discussing the matter with her personal assistant "Vivian" (Joyce Wenjuan Feng) they set out to find the right person to make this happen. However, just when they encounter difficulties finding a suitable man, Katrina is saved during a violent attack from another one of her employees by a delivery man named "Xiao Bo" (Hsiao-Chuan Chang). And it's then that Katrina decides to add him to her list of potential sperm donors. But in order to keep everything secret both Vivian and Katrina decide to offer him a job as chauffeur and bodyguard until just the right moment. Now rather than reveal any more I will just say that, even though this clearly wasn't a great romantic-comedy by any means, there was enough romance and humor to keep things interesting for the most part. Likewise, while I liked the performances of both Sammi Cheng and Hsiao-Chuan Chang, I have to say that I especially enjoyed the scenes involving Joyce Wenjuan Feng which I thought were simply hilarious. That being said, viewers interested in a cute film of this type might find this one to be worth a look and I have rated it accordingly. Slightly above average.

This was okay Sammi is such a good actress she can take a average script and save it, this could have been better by making it more of a adult serous plot and not so much foolishness i mean come on an adult Asian man afraid to be seen with his shirt off, need to give this a break.
