It's turning in to a soap opera with violence, with terrible background music that is way too loud. The plot is trying to be something like the old Mission: Impossible show from the 60's-70's but failing miserably.

After the mid season wrap up of the previous story lines. President Claire Haas creates a shadowy joint task force, to take down people who might have benefited financially from the G20 hostage siege.

The group includes Alex Parrish, Ryan Booth, Shelby Wyatt, Dayana Mampasi and Nimah Amin. The group are still in-fighting, being petty and Shelby has to cope with Clay Haas who is not thrilled that she slept with his father.

Owen Hall is recalled from jail to help with the group's mission to infiltrate a gathering for high calibre investors but they are more likely to uncover Ponzi schemes than terrorist activities.

Alex bumps into Harry Doyle, now freelance and she helps Alex to uncover a potential culprit who benefited financially after recent events.

Léon Valez shows up at the end acting all paranoid and he later gets abducted.

We now have a pared down group and hopefully a less convoluted plot for the remainder of the series. This being Quantico I suspect it will tie itself to knots again.
