There is not too much that needs to be said about the basics of this 4-minute music video as you have the names of the two artists as well as the song's name in here: "Zayn & Taylor Swift: I Don't Wanna Live Forever". Like most of Swift's other recent stuff, this is a big success moving close to the 500 million clicks on Youtube during its first year as this one was released almost a year ago now, in January 2017. The director is Grant Singer, one of the rising stars in music videos recently who also may make a successful transition to "real" films at some point. I must say I did not like most of Swift's other recent stuff too much, but this one here was worth the time I guess. It wasn't great or anything, but it is fairly catchy and both artists add their share overall. Zayn I haven't come across yet I think, but in here he sounds like a slightly less talented version of Sam Smith. I am not sure if the music video offers a lot to an extent where I would say listening to the song is not enough, you also need to see the music video, but it's not too bad either. Slightly romantic and the duo's looks aren't hurting either. Close call, but I give this one a thumbs-up and recommend checking it out. Hopefully Swift keeps improving again in the future as it seems judging from these under 5 minutes. Go watch.
