I can sum up my opinion of "Somewhere Between" with one single word: Weak. With a capital w. That and plot holes. Many plot holes.

I am not a big fan of stories that incorporate the ability to travel through time, but both my wife and myself thought we might try this television series; even though ABC is not known for doing much of anything worthwhile since "Grey's Anatomy" and "Marvel's Agents of S. H. I. E. L. D."

The parents have no real respect for each other and the kid has no respect for either of her parents; she frequently plays them against each other.

The storyline is really difficult to believe since most everything is relying so heavily on coincidence. Just how do you screw up when you know the future?

We can't empathize with any of the characters.

    [6.8] Cry but spank

A sort of artificial pilot with unrealistic happenings. The acting is a little forced, the child needing discipline and the events not bright but interesting. It could get better if the storyline and plots are good.

    First time for me

I never rate an episode or a show until I'm done watching it but I'm only 15 minutes into the first episode and I feel a strong need to write this review like RIGHT NOW! So, I started watching this show because I love the concept behind it, a mother traveling back in time in order to stop a serial killer from killing her child. Sounds AWESOME to me! Unfortunately, right now I'm actually rooting for the killer! This kid is seriously annoying and her mother acts like a complete idiot! What kind of mother lets her daughter get so out of control like that?! I strongly oppose physical discipline in any form but right now I just want to slap them both!! The acting is way over the top, it's ridiculous and frankly nauseating! So much that I'm not sure I want to keep watching. Now, I only watched 15 minutes so I agree it might not be fair and I might even change my mind later but right now I'm feeling so irritated that I just had to write this review. Just not a good start...

    I Second The Other Reviewer

This is so awful that I felt compelled to get on here and say something. The acting is over the top and awful. Everything is wrong with this entire production.

I'm talking pure amateur hour here.

Kid is not cute. She's obnoxious and, I'm sorry, she needs a damn good spanking. She literally left her house without asking permission and her mother finds her and not so much as even a scolding. The kid is 6 years old and the law should have been laid down for her at that moment - a spanking and everything - so she will never pull another stunt like that.

With that attitude as a six-year-old, I'm afraid of what she's going to be when she's a teenager. Mother is an idiot.

Also, not for nothing, what the heck is wrong with the actress's hair and makeup?

This is so awful it's like watching a slow motion accident. I'm going to keep watching to see how over the top and ridiculous this show is.

Who spent money on this? Probably not going to last, but I'm going to give it the old college try because at this point I'm enjoying how god-awful it is. Does not under the category of so bad it's good. It's so bad it's bad.

This looks like something that a bunch of high schoolers with a crayon attempted to do.
