The Darhks have arrived
imakk20016 March 2018
Warning: Spoilers
No Country for Old Dads is similar to Legion of Doom in that this ep establish the Darhks as interesting complex villains that you want to root for as well want defeated. This dichotomy is what made the Legion and s2 so amazing, so it's a good sign for the Darhks and this season. It absolutely helps to see Nora as more than the hissing henchwoman or the heartbreaking victim of her father's machinations. Likewise Damien seemingly truly cares about his daughter, although this is Damien Darhk so remains to be seen if he's just having fun playing her because Vogal's storyline feels very foreshadowy. How this all ends for Nora is turning into the most interesting storyline because she can't possibly have a happy ending given all she's done, yet she is a victim, too.

Other highlights:

+ Mick in a tie-dye!

+ the answer to what's Grodd up to these days

+ Wally's intro to the team and learning that this isn't the good ship lollipop

+ interesting version of baby-tossing while fending off your bad self

+ Damien in yet another terrible wig

+ Poor Zari with another exposure to a teamate's canoodling

+ the totems' purpose

+ If anyone can turn evil good, it'd be Ray

Score: 9

Great Episode with the Darhk's
Tigerbai13 May 2018
Warning: Spoilers
Damien and Nora Darhrk take Ray hostage they force him to try and fix the Fire Totem -- Ray and Nora find themselves working together in 1960's East Germany in order to fix the totem, but soon come face to face with a younger and deadlier version of Damien Dahrk. I find myself actually liking the Darhk's in this one. Times they are a changin. Watch and find out what "I'm going to kick my ass" means. I laughed out loud several times in this episode. Lots of good stuff in this one. An addition to the team, Rip is pardoned and the fight for the totems is on. Enjoy.

Fun Episode, Terrible Goofs Section
Anonnamus1 December 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I love the Darhks. Villains or not, they're a super fun evil daddy daughter duo. I especially love the chemistry between Nora and Ray, perhaps because of their real-life marriage. Courtney Ford's ability to emote sarcasm is outstanding. So many entertaining things about this episode, from Damian asking for fatherly advice from Ray to that terrible wig to the introduction of Wally West to the team. Although seeing Director Bennett get pounded into the pavement was fantastic, the return of Gorilla Grodd was not so much. I may be in the minority but I was never a fan of Grodd and had to push through all the Arrowverse episodes that featured him. This was the part of the season that LoT finally found it's footing and the characters became less annoying and unbelievable.

Whoever contributed most of the goofs section, please stop.
