They're So Cute/Hope for the Future
Hitchcoc4 March 2021
Once again, we are treated to the cluelessness of the two kids. But they are really innocent. When the general store goes out of business, Stevie tells David he should quit complaining and put his money where his mouth is. He decides to go for it, but the roadblock is a chain year around Christmas store is taking over the building. Moira undercuts David's hopes. Of course, she sees him as incompetent and lets him know it, really hurting his feelings.

Meanwhile, Alexis starts to take life into her hands and enroll in hight school, hoping to finish the one semester she needs to graduate. Her whole thing in Mrs. Schitt's class is really cute and sincere. It seems the kids are really annoyed with her, but the ending shows us something different. Also, David gets some interesting news.

High School and General Store
vivianla6 October 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Alexis gets dropped off to high school. She is older than the kids.

David and Stevie go into the general store for their closing sale. The store is closing down. David says Stevie's eyebrows never move so he doesn't know when she is being serious or not. Stevie suggests he does something about the store.

Alexis disrupts the class and two girls to the far right of the teacher's view are whispering and the one at the front looks her up and down with this expression I dislike. Alexis looks a bit uncomfortable.

In the next class Alexis wears a beautiful halter dress and the two girls once again pass notes. They get scolded by Ms. Schitt and told to stay after class. Alexis takes the blame and Jocelyn reads out the note which says everyone is talking about her dress and how pretty she is.

David is upset to learn his sold-out gallery events were all bought by his parents - his parents paid the patrons. David hilariously calls it a form of child abuse.
