🙄 fake reviews grrr
MikeHunt107516 October 2020
This is an attempt to be one of those Machette Kills type of films, only it does a really poor job. So poor they kill off Danny Trejo in the first few minutes, but plaster his face on the cover art to trick you into thinking he's the star of this film. Enough said yet?

This is a movie that might've been cool had it been released 30 years ago and called Duke Nukem. But in today's standards, it's ok for a bit and then runs out of steam quickly. It's action needs to find a balance between comedy and cartoon, and work out what is supposed to be funny about things like a woman with a moustache?

You will never kick yourself for passing on this one.

A very bizarre and unique movie...
paul_haakonsen16 October 2020
Well, I must admit that I was initially lured in to watch the 2019 movie "Bullets of Justice" because I saw Danny Trejo on the movie's cover. Sure, I hadn't even heard about the movie prior to sitting down to watch it, much less knowing what it was about.

And I must say that "Bullets of Justice" from writers Valeri Milev and Timur Turisbekov is a strange movie, nay, a weird movie. There was, however, something very unique and enjoyable about it at the same time. Now, the weird part was the storyline, because it was all over the place and there wasn't all that much meat on the storyline actually, but come the ending of the movie, it was actually a nice turn of events and quite a twist to the storyline. And the enjoyable parts of the movie was the grindhouse-feel that it had to it, and also all the things that were just over-the-top strange and bizarre.

I suppose that director Valeri Milev's movie is either you like it or not. I don't think that "Bullets of Justice" has any middle ground given the uniqueness of the entire movie. Either you're in or you're out...

As for Danny Trejo being in the movie, yeah, don't get your hopes up. He wasn't even in the movie for 5 minutes, but I suppose his face and name does work well to lure in the audience. It worked on me, after all. "Bullets of Justice" is a mixed bag of acting performances, because some were actually putting on good performances while others were just cringeworthy to look at and listen to.

The visual presentation of "Bullets of Justice" was definitely a factor that helped win me over, because that gritty grindhouse sensation that permeated from the movie was just worked well in favor of it all. As for the special effects, well the practical effects were good enough, but the CGI effects were shoddy and dubious to be honest.

I was actually enjoying "Bullets of Justice", after getting over the initial "what the..." feeling I had as the movie was just getting started. I can recommend you sit down to watch it and let it win you over. Don't just give up at the beginning of the movie, because once you're over that sense of disbelief, then the movie actually becomes enjoyable.

My rating of "Bullets of Justice" is a six out of ten stars.

Crazy stuff start to finish
alex-125017 October 2020
The movie is jam packed with gross scenes. I am not sure how coherent the dialogue was, but the things actors are saying is almost as crazy as the visuals. Seemingly, the language and acting skills are of secondary importance here and I tend to agree with that. I found myself not really knowing why I was still watching this - I guess for me this was mainly a bizarre looking comedy. It did make me laugh once I got used to what I was seeing in front of me.

The Bad Acting Ruins It
arfdawg-117 November 2020
So this is a very creativily made movie that is destroyed by the horrendously bad acting.

Too bad. The look and feel of the movie is intersting and they do a lot with a limited budget.

But man oh man is that acting horrible.

Bizarre, twisted, loathsome
stanimiradeleva27 November 2020
This movie sure has something original going on, but it is so hideous that it is almost painful to watch. Yes, it has the potential to become a cult classic, and it really is so bad that it is good. But boy, I do not want to meet the poor twisted souls that would enjoy that kind of entertainment.

Truly dreadful
birkby-7042317 October 2020
This is without doubt the worst film bar none that I have ever watched, total trash from beginning to end, whoever is responsible for should hang their heads in shame for making it, the "actors" should change their names by deed poll and consider having surgery to change their appearance, so that when they audition for other jobs no-one knows they were in this truly appalling film, when such utter trash is considered entertainment it is a sad day indeed.

This is not good ...
kosmasp23 October 2019
... and that is why it's good ... well enjoyable! But you have to wrap your mind around how completely crazy this is, but also more than aware. There are not walls to pull down, the movie has bombed them away. So yes, wink wink, the filmmakers know what they did and they show you almost every second of the movie.

Now even that is a fine line to walk. I can't decide for you, if that movie achieves that goal in your view. I think it does more often than not (yes some things do not hit home). Overall this is as silly as it can get and there is quite a lot of violence ... and it is also made so there can be sequels ... More of this mayhem? That's either yey or nay - you decide

Opening scene was great. Should have stopped there.
XpocalypseSurvival27 February 2021
Synopsis: In a post-apocalyptic world, mutant, genetically engineered man/pigs have enslaved humanity, and their only hope is an envy-traumatized male model.

Rating: 3/10. I think whoever made this had an idea for a single scene and tried to make a whole movie out of it. That scene, the first one, was actually pretty good; reminded me of Hobo with a Shotgun, but from there, it completely fell apart. If you watch it, just watch the beginning.

Survival lesson to be learned: Just because someone turns their back to you, does not mean you can let down your guard. You never know when they might have a machine-gun-wielding dwarf in their backpack.

The epitome of the phrase "I have so many questions" 🤷
Top_Dawg_Critic25 October 2020
To be clear, this is pretty much an all around (every part of this film, with the exception of Trejo - of whom was a pleasure to see) amateur crowd-funded B-grade film. The lead, Timur Turisbekov, makes his first-time ever dabble in filmmaking as Actor, Writer, Composer and Producer, along with novice Writer and Director Valeri Milev.

Was it flawed? Absolutely. But it was so bad, it was actually good! You begin critiquing the story with questions, then give up, start to laugh, and then finally just sit back and enjoy the ride. It may even be in the running as a cult classic lol.

The cinematography and choice of colors was outstanding. The visuals, sets and costumes amazing. The V/SFX and gore were top shelf for a B film. The score was very subtle and fitting, unlike most B films were it's overbearing, loud and ridiculous. The acting was actually convincing and decent, especially during some of the ridiculous scenes. The 79 min runtime was perfect for the storyline as was the pacing.

At first I wasn't sure what I just saw and how to rate it. Then I saw it again with some friends high af, and I have to tell you, it's the only way to see it! And I will be seeing it again.

Yes there are many bogus 10/10 reviews, but the 1/10's are just as ridiculous, as this film has many redeeming qualities, especially considering this wasn't put together by seasoned filmmakers, yet it feels like it was in some areas.

I'm giving this entertaining little hidden gem an honest and well deserved 8/10. To see how I rate films like this one, click on my username to see my 1000+ reviews and read my profile on my rating system. And don't hesitate to see this one... just open up your imagination, grab the popcorn, some booze, mj, and sit back and enjoy the ride.

A fun mess
BandSAboutMovies9 November 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Bullets of Justice starts with a flyover of a post-apocalyptic city, followed by a pigman crapping his pants before being shot directly between the eyes. Now that's how you get my interest.

Pig men? Well, back during World War 3, which has to be coming to 2020 any day now, the U.S. government started a secret project that was codenamed Army Bacon. Yes, that sounds like something out of Alex Jones, but here we are. Now, a quarter of a century later, the Muzzles have become the top of the food chain, replacing humans, and only a few humans remain.

Directed by Valeri Milev, who did Wrong Turn 6 and second unit on Van Damme's We Die Young and written by Timur Turisbekov, who also plays hero Rob Justice, this film plays as a send-up of pretty mich every post-Mad Max movie that I love. No, really. I made a Letterboxd list just to track all the end of the world movies I've watched.

To get this on the shelves of WalMart, Danny Trejo shows up as Gravedigger, the father of our hero who returns as a ghost to help him. Really, Danny Trejo against pig men is all the review I need to give this and people will want to watch it, much less telling you that there's a scene where a jet pack flying pig man gets decapitated and its bloody head drops right into the spread eagle crotch of a female bounty hunter, which slow dissolves into a lovemaking scene.

Seriously, Trejo is in twenty or thirty movies a month - he and Nicolas Cage must have a running bet - but this is probably the best one you'll see him in this year, even if his part is incredibly minor. It's also full of absolutely ludicrous stunts, dirt all over everything, a near-obscene level of gore and a hero who has lost so many girlfriends that he has a shrine to all of them in his car.

There's also a bad guy named Benedict Asshole and our hero's new girl, who is also his sister, who has a mustache. And plenty of male frontal nudity. Of course, it's also all acted phonetically in English, has all the directorial chops of The Asylum and doesn't have a coherent plot.

The best of times. The worst of times. A lot blows up. I tried not to think too hard. Also this is a movie that taught me that bullets are birds of justice made of lead and if you don't want them to kill you, they won't. That literally made me laugh for five minutes, which is enough to say that this is a success.

This movie makes me think that Bulgaria and Kazakhstan got together and said, "Why the hell do Italy and the Philippines get to make all of the great Road Warrior rip-offs?"

Bullets of Justice is currently available on demand. Let me know what you think.

Another movie full of people acting tough & grateful
mike-c-b19 January 2021
Someones idea of "lets make the grossest film possible" could have worked out if either there were better actors, a script and/or they had better direction. The screenplay was great (camera angles, lights, animated action).

There was no pushing of any boundaries except for a lot of sliding faux pig flesh which was unnecessary, and showing some extra skin during the sex scenes.

In sex scenes, the one thing you can get away with is shooting further away and from behind... you can sit the camera down and walk away... you don't need to constantly change it up with blur and movement shots as it looks like the viewer is a home invader/creep... but they did it here as well just like many other movies.

So basically it's a movie where the main thing going for it is pushing boundaries, but instead they went full PC and just made it disgusting & fake to watch.

beware, it's really bad
butravi2 September 2022
Very cheap production, bad editing and insufferable dialogues mouthed by Russian actors or whatever.

Danny Trejo is for few minutes, rest of them are lousy actors.

The camera shakes so much to create action scenes and gives a headache.

Lead actor/hero is one of the worst ever seen.

Many actors in the background can be seen suppressing laughter, as the whole direction must have been that ridiculous.

I really didn't want to write a review, but am writing just to warn viewers.. as many reviews give it 10 rating and it can be highly misleading.

I was jumping ahead often, as dialogues often go for 5 minutes or more, and seem like written by people with very basic English language proficiency. And it's boring like hell. What more do you want to know about this total bs movie?

You've been warned..

Disgusting Movie - Negative Stars would be justified
kbowerscrabb28 March 2021
Wanted to watch this movie because Danny Trejo was in it. He has had some fairly good movies in the past, like the Bad Ass movies. Bullets of Justice is an exception. This is one sick movie - brother/sister relations, the sister has a moustache. I will stop with that. We turned this crap off half way through. Just another Hollyperv movie attempting to exploit inappropriate relationships.

script written on acid
nIGHTmAYOR1 January 2022
I cant believe this thing gets rated by some above minimal rating . I have managed to watch this nonsense over several sessions because I couldn't bare watch it all together for its pure nonsense . At a point I hoped there would be some cunning ending to make sense of all that fragmented story , but no they just let you down under alias this was all just a day dream of someone high on drugs trying to imagine a life of being a hero blending all the elements of his pathetic life into some heroic story where he fails to even do that judging his poor state of mind . Now any attempt of reading this movie other wise shown in other ratings are all mere attempts to feel less ripped off of those 70 something minutes of their lives watching such nonsense .

Like a bad dream
tomilipin6 September 2021
This film is like a bad dream. It tries to tell a story but fails miserably. The premise would seem to open so many possibilities but none of them was ever utilised. It raises more questions than answers. Sometimes it's serious, on other occasions it's truly funny or even laughable. I wouldn't consider it a waste of time. It's rather one of those examples of modern art - it doesn't mean anything and looks like crap but you call it 'art', so it's something special, original, expensive and unique.

Trash as it should be
solipsist_in_a_cloud8 April 2023
This was the kind of trash I am yearning for. It is a sick and tasteless movie, it is cheap, and it does not ask for perfect acting. But this allows for an out of the box story, some crazy sick, but also refreshing ideas. It is not predictable, but it also leaves you with an unresolved story.

I really did not expect much from this flick, just wanted some entertainment, some unusual film. This is, where the movie did deliver. But it is not the kind of movie I would recommend or tell other people how good it is. Because it is not good. It is real trash. But perfect for people who enjoy this kind of trash.

Fun old-school grindhouse throwback
kannibalcorpsegrinder15 November 2020
Living in a dystopian world, a man and his sister are part of a group of resistance fighters hunting down a race of pig-like creatures that have overtaken humanity and breeding them for cattle, and as their search takes them deeper into their underworld are forced to accept outlandish scenarios to try to survive.

This is a pretty solid and enjoyable exploitation outing. Among its more enjoyable aspects is the immediate matter that this one drops us into this depraved world as everything is given to us rather early on. With the opening confrontation in the streets leading to the revelation about what happened involving their world getting overthrown by the manipulation of the pig-creatures and holding mankind to be fed like they used to be as well as the need for resisting their advances, it wraps everything up in an incredibly swift manner. Getting the entire purpose of their fighting where they are forced to look for the main pig-creature producing more offspring which is a fine inversion of the relationship humans have with pigs in the real world is a great touch here. As well, there's so much to like with the action-packed setting this provides. That opening shootout in the streets has some solid firepower and stunt-work featured in addition to the fiery action on display and sets the tone for the over-the-top nature to be featured throughout here. From there, it gets even crazier with the jungle ambush by the creatures where they wipe out the ground troops walking through the series of traps only to get taken out by the swarm of creatures lying in ambush around them in spectacularly brutal fashion. The scenes of them overtaking the meat-farm which offers up plenty of fun as they deploy not only stealth and trickery but brute firepower to overcome their overwhelming numbers in a nice bit of team-work that displays tons of carnage alongside the bloodied bodies strewn around that are being cut up for the creatures. As well as the fine exploitation elements with tons of nudity and a willingness to get messy, there's a lot to like here. There are some issues to be had with this one. Among its biggest drawbacks is the fact that this one tends to switch around plotlines and allegiances so much that it's hard to tell what's going on at times. With so much going on, with the reunited siblings, the search for the queen pig-creature in the middle of a massive war between the various sides of the resistance and then introducing time-travel, dreams involving a flamboyant model that tends to switch sides and meeting his dead father continuously throughout the film, there's just so much going on that it's incredibly easy to lose track of everything and become confused. This one really could've been streamlined and made less confusing by dropping some of the extraneous storylines and concentrated on only a few of those to be less of an issue. Combined with a wholly unsatisfying and cheap-jack ending that feels as if it ran out of money to do anything and sets itself up for a sequel, these are what lower this one down.

Rated Unrated/R: Extreme Graphic Violence, Full Male and Female Nudity, Graphic Language and Sex Scenes.

Weird, fun, unique..
whotheff20 September 2021
Recently I shot a short movie in just 2 hours. Because I had limited time, I did half of the stuff on the fly. This is what it looks like here too. They had general idea, a few actors + donators and made up a role for everybody. Usually this ends bad, but in this case they showed great imagination, great camera skills to transform the lack of budget into something enjoyable to watch. First half of the movie is incredibly well shot. Fast paced, tight action scenes, combined with nice gunfights, clever camera angles and good locations does wonders. The pigs were the best idea of all! The image of human pigs was so believable, that it held me till the end. Sex scenes were explicit and natural, as they were in the 90s, not as they are (lacking) in 2020s. Combine that with a gruesome, gory type of visuals and all that covered with a "dirty" looking filter, applied to the whole movie. Baang! You got a pretty good slasher with a "Hot Shots" type of humor and "Borat" crazyness!

Now the bad part: acting is mostly bad. However, the things happening on screen are so crazy and hard to grasp at times, characters were so unique and detailed (robot guy), that poor acting somehow does not interfere that much. Then it comes the middle of the movie. As if the script was stolen and they had to add some more scenes. The tricky part is that some of it was actually good (Red Vulva scene, "wall hack" scene..), but as if they were disconnected from the main plot. And finally - the END. It is as hilarious as it can get!

If The Room had a baby with Kung Fury... with pigs and Trejo
swimmaster9816 October 2020
Dis the maddest film I've ever seen!

Yo....! This movie just doesn't give a F!! The film smelled of the Mos Eisley Cantina and that's a good thing!! I watched it alone and tonight I am having some friends over and guess what our drinking game would be?! Bullets of Justice...baby
  • drink a shot every time a pig head gets blown or spot the many many Easter Eggos.

I mean, unless you are from the Academy, and all you watch is Oscar contenders this ain't for you, you snob... But if you want some friggin fun - the action is such high quality, the gore is grousome and the jokes are so incoherent, crude, stupid, lame and stupid and the Keanu Reeves line delivery style is just... spot on for this hahaha it's hilarious. All of this stupidity seems to be done on purpose and walking that very fine and dangerous line of self awareness beautifully.

I don't knoww... I DIG it! Original filmmaking, great sequences, thrilling and omg so fun-dumb! Obvi not a 10 but a 10 in its own right! Yo... WHAT?!?! Ha ha hahahaa

Unexpected surprise
abisio25 October 2020
Warning: Spoilers
The presence of Danny Trejo (in a very brief character), suggest a violent "B MOVIE"; well that aspect if over accomplished. The movie violence and gore reach the highest mark I saw in a long time; and about the same on the sexual part. Some sexual scenes are extremely explicit with full graphic nudity (not always the pleasant kind) , some perversion (incest apparently) and homoerotic undertones too. However; if you are looking for a story; then you will be perhaps disappointed.

Bullet of Justice is the king of bizarre movie for David Lynch fans; where reality and dreams mix (take Mulholland Drive as a hint) and unexpected twists occur that required some additional viewing.

In any case; the movie does not want to be taken seriously as Lynch's are. There lots of humor (very dark and gory ) and is more satirical than science fiction.

The end; perhaps disappointing; makes sense with the whole.

In brief; a piece of very bizarre entertainment; they kind that cannot be made on Hollywood standards of political correctness.

Lodge your tongue firmly in your cheek and just watch it!
Shewattsi23 October 2019
It takes a brave group of people to make a film like this, and the cast in Bullets of Justice really just go for it. It's a send up of all the post apocalypse hard man films, is firmly silly (but always with a straight face) and has plot lines and cutaways that just come out of nowhere and go exactly nowhere. It's brilliant and it'll make you laugh.
