Months after news broke 13 Reasons Why star Katherine Langford would appear in Avengers: Endgame, the film’s directors reveal her scenes were cut.
Joe and Anthony Russo said on MTV’s Happy Sad Confused podcast on Sunday that they had filmed a scene with Langford in their blockbuster film that was a mirror of Thanos’ scene with a young Gamora after he wiped out half of the universe with the Infinity Gauntlet.
The scene with Langford, 23, as Tony Stark’s adult daughter, Morgan, proved too confusing for test audiences, however.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson will helm murder-mystery movie Knives Out, starring James Bond himself, Daniel Craig.
Knives Out might sound like a reference to the fandom that started a social media maelstrom in reaction to Star Wars: The Last Jedi, but it's the title of a murder-mystery that will serve as director Rian Johnson’s follow-up to that $1.3 billion worldwide-grossing Star Wars Sequel Trilogy middle act movie. While that fact alone gives Knives Out a good amount of gravitas, the newly-announced project is already touting its star, James Bond himself, Daniel Craig, who will be joined by Captain America himself, Chris Evans! They will topline what's quickly becoming an incredible cast.
A surprise announcement at September's Toronto Film Festival of Rian Johnson’s written/directorial follow-up movie – and the casting of star Daniel Craig – was a proverbial airhorn designed to preemptively attract prospective bidders at the industry festivities.

It’s never nice to rag on anyone for anything they can’t really control but in terms of Katherine Langford’s role in The Misguided, it would appear that her fame from 13 Reasons Why is the only real reason why she’s here. That’s how little screen time she seems to have in the movie despite the fact that she’s one of the more known faces in the film. This audition tape seems to indicate that she’s going to have a bigger role but the fact of the matter is that she is there, but she’s nowhere near as prominent in this

Netflix will follow the teen-aged exploits of King Arthur’s Lady of the Lake character in Cursed.
Netflix is pulling a sword from a stone in its upcoming original series, Cursed. Based on King Arthur’s Lady of the Lake, the project comes from comic book writer/artist Frank Miller and Puss in Boots writer/producer Tom Wheeler. The 10-episode series is based on Miller and Wheeler's upcoming illustrated young adult book, Cursed.
Cursed put a twist on the King Arthur legend, told through the eyes of the Excalibur-bestowing enchantress, the Lady of the Lake. The character is depicted here as a teenager, named Nimue, with a mysterious gift, and the coming-of-age series showcases her path to destiny. According to the plot description (via Variety), after her mother dies, Nimue joins a young mercenary named Arthur, on his quest to find the magician Merlin and deliver an ancient sword.

The Misguided tries to be many things at once: a romance, a story about drug-dealing and the dangers that await those who choose to navigate the seedy underbelly of Perth, Australia, as well as the tale of two brothers who fall for the same girl. Unfortunately, the film doesn’t really know how to juggle all these storylines at once, which results in a suitably involving, yet muddled viewing experience. Writer-director-producer-editor Shannon Alexander is ambitious in his intentions; maybe a little too ambitious. The premise of The Misguided is full of potential. Caleb Galati plays Levi, our unemployed main character crashing at his drug-dealing and all-around lunatic half-brother Wendel’s (Steven J. Mihaljevich), house while desperately trying to find a job. Everything changes when Wendel’s ex-girlfriend, Sanja...

The title provides an apt description of the central characters in Shannon Alexander's dark comedy set in Perth, Australia. Depicting the misadventures of two misfit, drug-dealing brothers and the well-heeled college girl who makes the mistake of getting romantically involved with both of them, The Misguided has its amusing moments but ultimately seems as aimless as the figures at its center.
The story begins with college dropout and all-around loser Levi (Caleb Galati) showing up at his older brother's house in need of a place to crash after being kicked out by his girlfriend. His sibling is no prize either:...
