What is wrong with the writers on this show? For the most part the story arcs are decent but there are so many obvious plot holes. Up until now I have been content merely yelling at my television but they have just been getting worse. This episode is the one that broke it for me. Okay so Rip is trying to disband the team because of the mistakes that they have been making, so the team goes off on their own to return Julius Ceasar to ancient Rome. As theyre droppimg him off, Nate Heywood checks this giant history book to make sure the timeline was restored. First of all letting Caesar see this book is obviously a bad idea and second as theyre walking away it shows Caesar has somehow managed to "pickpocket" this huge book away from Nate. How would this ever be reasonable, how do you not notice youre not carrying this giant book anymore? Its just like in the previous episode, season 2 finale when all the speedsters showed up to get the spear of destiny and yet Sara Lance had all the time in the world to finish the incantation, wouldnt the spear be the first thing all the speedsters went for? This writing seems incredibly lazy, I don't see how more pople don't have a problems with some of this awful writing. The show could be much better if some of these plot holes were axtually thought out a little more.
