Incredibly low budget film
rufrocko23 March 2020
Warning: Spoilers
This was such a dumb movie, it seemed it was made by a highschool student, there are no horses in the movie so I dont know where the front picture comes from, he never rides a horse, if you're looking for it's so bad it's good movie then keep looking, the plot is meandering and boring, I realize this is a movie aimed at children but even children's movies shouldn't have the bar set so low, the entire movie is filmed in one location, someones house. They use stock videos of different kinds of hedgehogs along with the one APH.

Move over David Lynch
Agent1020 June 2021
If you just read the header, you are wondering why I wrote that. Let's be clear here, this film is not just the visual descent of a man going insane, it's a visual representation of Dean Cain calling out for help.

Why would you make this movie? It's obviously for beer money. Like a frat boy working for a few weeks as a landscaper or a bum on the corner asking for cash, his alcoholism has reached a new low. Just saying. When Tara Reid looks brighter and fresher than you....you have hit bottom.

But most importantly, the ending is where we realize what a Lynchian horror this was. Is it a simulation or is it like the end of Brazil? One has to make their own assessment I guess.

Needless to say, I loved this stupid, ridiculous movie. Talking plants and cheerleading fetishes aside...go watch it!

Dean Cain deserves an Oscar
zachimania24 June 2019
This is a brave movie about a man's descent into madness. Dean Cain perfectly depicts the struggle of addiction and depression as he battles his trauma in the manifestation of a talking hedgehog.

Wow
margabake23 December 2019
After viewing the trailer for this film, my hopes were low. However, I am glad I gave it a second chance because WOW. Reid puts on a glowing performance with complexity and grace and a comeback that is likely to be met with an Oscar nomination. With Cain as her costar, the chemistry between these two is palpable. Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper have nothing on these two! I can not recommend this film enough!

Absolutely Stunning

Warning: Spoilers
This film deserves every award. Not only is the development of Dean Cain's character leave such a lasting impact on myself, but the strength of his relationship with his wife gives even me hope. The development of his decent into the insanity that he had previously been masking was so interesting. I found that as he continued to hallucinate, the hedgehog he projects changes to match his subconscious fears of being misunderstood. Wonderful film, it's a must see.

Mmmm I think this was mostly performance art. Tara Reid carried this film. There was also a hedgeHog. I do agree misleading from lack of horse. But still worth the 3.99 i paid.

LGBTQ ICON

Warning: Spoilers
Wow you wouldn't expect such a stereotypical movie to have gay representation. But the chemistry between the two 'repairmen(?)' speaks volumes. Every time these two are in the movie they are all over each other. I ship them harder than the head cheerleader and the dad, or Andy and Mike the hedgehog.

It's a slow burn so if you don't like that this is t for you.

But the rest of the movie sucks 2/10.

I need to fill up more space so let me talk about the rest of this film. Me and my roommates bought this and it's the worst thing we've ever seen. You can see mic packs and the video quality slows randomly. You don't know how this is supposed to make me feel but i hate it.

Put Tara on the map
willbevm3 July 2023
This film, no wonder it circulated so much Oscar frenzy. Meryl street must be kicking her calf's at not getting the role of the main role in this Oscar worthy role of a hedge hole don't mistake it with a mole or a lump of cole as it stole the show! Tara Reid has gone from strength to strength since American pie and urban legend. For someone with such diversity in her acting ability , cinema releases like this are a walk in the park. And Brandon routh who also stars in this flamboyant Tarantino thriller has a memorable role of the hedge hole not the mole lucky the role didn't get stole by Christopher reeves. Well I advise you all to watch with an open mind cause once jamie Lee Curtis shows up you know it's all gonna kick off ! Have fun.
