Kusuo Saiki is a psychic with all sorts of supernatural powers. All he wants to do is to keep his head down and not draw attention to himself, but often things don't go as Kusuo hopes.
Although Kusuo's parents are currently fighting each other, he tries to stay out of it since he thinks that it is a problem that they need to work out for themselves.

Since most mainstream video games are spoiled for him, Saiki ends up playing a shoddily-made RPG, becoming frustrated by all the hallmarks of a crappy game.
After Saiki retrieves a boy's balloon, the boy starts thinking that Saiki is his favorite hero, Cyborg Cider-man No. 2. On a different occasion, Saiki teleports his father to his office and ends up staying to check out his company.
