Mykola Yeriomin: [multilinguality] While the main bulk of the movie is in Russian, lengthy scene directed by Yeriomin also includes Ukrainian on the wall sticker and mug and the title is also doubled in English in main titles. Cigarette lighter thief also calls Semyon Stanislavskyi in a Ukrainian variant of the name - Semen.
Mykola Yeriomin: [titles and credits] Mykola Yeriomin designed his own credit for title design of the same credit. Also there are a lot of in-jokes in the main titles and end credit (see Crazy Credits for details).
Mykola Yeriomin: [Askold Tutylopydirskiy] is mentioned twice: firstly, his name is seen in Semyon Stanislavskyi's notes with a question mark for address and a 10,000 ruble debt and later he is also credit in the end credits as "just".
Mykola Yeriomin: [Communal Universes] While not taking place in Communal Universes, movie shares a certain connection and is likely also exists as fictional in them. Askold Tutylopydirskiy and fictionalized variants of Artur Naumenko, Mikhail Bondarev and Yaroslav Kozak are mentioned and there is also Angelov street which is named after Communal Universes character Angel Angelov, first appearing in another PP Studio and Terra Studio co-production Pyramid Above the Kremlin (2016).
