Same old, same old

The two usual plot strands in 'Still Open All Hours' are Granville trying to flog the idiots (Eric and Cyril) some rubbish and Granville trying to set Gastric up with Madge.

Either one normally dominates an episode. It's rare than that in this episode both plots appear together.

I think when you see too many episodes of this show back to back the novelty starts to wear off, and you realise that it's always the same, but there are some nice moments in this episode and as ever it's well performed.

A bit of variety in terms of plot would be nice though.
