- Throughout the movie, the main character is seen in outfits without any bra where her nipples can be seen. As she bends over, a fair amount of cleavage can be seen.
- A naked woman is shown from behind sitting on the bow of a boat. Most of one breast is visible. She then lays back, revealing both breasts.
- A man attempts to have sex with a woman but she refuses, moving his hand away from her garment. "Later, you dirty old man," she replies. Very mild scene with no nudity or anything graphic. May go over the heads of younger children.
- It is slightly implied that Tami and Richard are in a sexual relationship, as the couple spends a long voyage alone together in a boat across the Pacific Ocean.
- A young woman tells a young man that her mother was "knocked up," i.e., impregnated, and gave birth to her when her mother was only 15 years old.
- The main character is shown in her bikini and another time in a halter dress.
Violence & Gore

- A young man is seen with a lacerated shin with his bone sticking out. The wound is visible, but not in great detail.
- A young man tells a young woman that his mother committed suicide by hanging herself.
- A young woman is shown with a bloody injury on her head. Blood is also visible on her hand.
- Tami goes spearfishing (even though vegetarian) in a desperate struggle to find food as she and her boyfriend are stranded in the ocean.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

- The film's premise is being adrift on a battered sailboat in the middle of the ocean, and the struggle to survive.
- The main character encounters a massive vessel while adrift on a sailboat and is nearly run over by it.
- A young sailor finds herself stuck under some material while underwater and has to find a way to swim to the surface. After resurfacing, she finds that her sailboat has been drifting and must quickly reach the boat before it's too late.
- There is a point when Tami screams in desperation as she discovers the hopeless condition of the sailboat.
- A young man tells a young woman that he communicates with his deceased mother.
- A young woman jumps off a cliff into the water. Her boyfriend jumps in afterward frantically calling out to her, but she is okay.
Spoilers
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- A couple on a sailboat are caught in a hurricane. A large wave makes the boat vertical, sending the woman down into the boat and the man overboard. We see him sink into the darkness.
- It is revealed later in the film that a young woman had been hallucinating about her then-dead boyfriend, whom she believed to be still alive. Some may find this unsettling.
