I watch a lot of stand up comedy, and I chuckle at most and even have a few good laughs along the way. But this is my first time watching Sebastian Maniscalco, and I laughed out loud more times in this hour than I usually do in a half dozen other standups combined. At one point I laughed so hard I think I had a little accident.
This guy makes everything funny. Sure, he talks about his wife and domestic situations, and maybe that's not so unusual in itself. But the way he does it is unique, and his macho Italian persona's reactions to the idiosyncrasies of humanity is priceless. His expressions, his timing, his wild gestures, give the jokes a life that other comics' routines can't touch. Maniscalco is a veritable artist of comedy .. you can't help but laugh the entire hour. Now I have to watch everything I can on this guy.
