It's an evocative portrayal of Cuban youth and not just a concert doc
lyndonsaunders8 September 2017
I don't know why the few that have rated this have done so with low scores. It's a great doc that uses a landmark Major Lazer concert behind the perimeter fence of communist Cuba as the vehicle in to exploring Cuban youth's wants and dreams.

It's much more than it presents as being, it's evocative and stirring in places, it's a window to Cuba at the eye level of its pop-culturally hungry young people and the event it surrounds where 250,000 unexpectedly turn up to the free gig is breath taking.

Watch it!

LOVED THIS!
This is one of the most beautiful and inspiring films I've seen in a while. Cuba is shot beautifully, but most importantly, it captures the amazing energy and joy of the cuban youth. As a musician, music is a hard and long slog. Having films like this is a reminder why I'm doing what I do. And a huge inspiration. Thank you Diplo, Walshy & Jillionaire, as well as the team that made the film.

Major Lazer play a free show for the people of Cuba

I think this is a wonderful film on how with just music alone, can unite over a quarter million people to congregate in one place. Nothing but free spirits with peace as the mission. I love it. Good vibe and good music you can't go wrong spending time watching this. It's also great in coordination with the You tube video series "blow your head" by Diplo on music and how it impacts on it's states around it.
