Ep picking up speed but still ploddy most of the time

Warning: Spoilers
Good gravy but Inhuman's version of Felicity is annoying as Arrow's.

Obviously no one told the writers that after the establishing shots of Medusa/money, the Medusa/ATM convo was an unfunny, unnecessary, stupid scene.

Not sure about the establish-a-bond-between-Gorgon-and-the-surfer/former soldiers/redshirts. Was heavy handed yet it was a rare perspective of this minority.

The buildup for Mortis became laughable after the reveal that he's a scrawny Inhuman version of Cyclops.

It would be effing AMAZING if the fix for Karnak's brain damage is to smoke some plants!

Will say this for the show, the depiction of Maximus and the reactions to his actions are realistic.

Crystal escapes with Lockjaw. Blackbolt kicks ass. Medusa actually finds Blackbolt on her own like she said she would and then gunpoints InhumanFelicity to follow that copter. F.I.N.A.L.L.Y. For these 3 happenings: Score 7.2

Okay, it's not very good.

This series is way too melodramatic for me. The characters are two dimensional. The action, what there is of it, is fine but not compelling. It is easy to see why the show didn't last very long. It's just plain boring, which is most uncommon in a Marvel franchise.

Having written that, in this third episode it seems to be getting better. A bit, anyway. I've been watching this for lack of something better, and for the first time I'm actually sort of looking forward to seeing what happens next.

Haoleified Hawaii

Warning: Spoilers
No such thing as Oahu County, City and County of Honolulu yes.

A crossbow are you kidding. When fighting against a known Superior Enemy the use of the M203 Grenade Launcher with Dual Purpose Ammunition (Explosive Grenade and Anti Armor Shaped Charge) would be used by any U.S. Military Veteran. They would also be using Bulletproof Vests (not "Body Armor" nor "Flack Vests").

Most of the Older Generations at Hawaii, do still have the "Aloha Spirit", the younger Generations (Millennials 18 to 36) don't, not even a little.

As far as Hawaii's Surfers, once you earned their trust everything is good. Unlike those that do not know, the Hawaii Surfers are made up of everything from successful Millionaires, Businesspersons, Lawyers, Doctors, Nurses, Judges, Politicians, Hotel Owners, U.S. Military, Shipworkers, even Fast Food Workers, this is the same with Hawaii's Motorcycle "Gangs" (Clubs). Hawaii is not like the "Mainland", most know as "Kamaaina" the Island Lifestyle regardless of Race, Color, Religion, Ancestry, Sex, most don't care what you say, what only matters is what you do or don't do, as Everybody is stuck on the Same Canoe.

At Hawaii, long before Americans of African Ancestry used the term "Brother" at Hawaii there was "Brah", "Brahda", "Sista", "Uncle", "Aunty" used for just about anybody that was accepted by "Islanders". example: "Uncle, you got money for March of Dimes" if you are older than they are, "Brah" if you are same age or younger. Before there is any arguments, Africans even today strongly believe you are calling them Bastards ("Illegitimate" Children) if you call them Brother, even wanting to kill you, this is why at the U.S. Americans of African Ancestry only used the term "Brother", "Sister" long after the Islanders at Hawaii did. 1960s I said "Brah" at the Mainland, I got punched in the face, "Your Daddy didn't F..k my Mother" was the explanation....more than once.

After a Helicopter was used for Prisoners to escape at the "Mainland", most Prisons have anti intrusion poles.

Making Friends

Warning: Spoilers
Whatever might be said about the script, the actors have given excellent performances. They are committed to producing a quality product.

I like the way the story is developing and each character (of the good guys) "beamed" down to earth meet up with interesting people with whom they form connections. Members of the Royal Family are functioning about as well as might be expected under the circumstances. I found the Medusa/ATM scene to be funny. Each to his own, I guess. Each of the "bad guy" team sent by Maximus have formidable powers, but I can hope that once Maximus is deposed (assuming that's where the series is headed) there can be a reconciliation of all the Moon-Inhumans.

One of the elements that I especially like about this series is showing the impact of the release of terrigen at the end of Season 2 of AOS on other people in different parts of the world. AOS was kind of an insular series with its focus on a specific group of people. So, now will the Earth-Inhumans unite with the Moon-Inhumans or will it be war? I look forward to the coming episodes.
