- It is a teen mystery base drama. No sex or obvious nudity shown in movie. A woman see in bra for a brief movement.
- In one scene, a man raises up the woman's blouse. Her bra and cleavage is shown for a few seconds. However it's not meant to be sexual. He raises up her blouse for a suffocation.
- Jacob strips down his dress and appears fully naked. We can see Jacob's full rear nudity from a distance. However no explicit nudity is visible. His bare dorsal is shown. However It's not meant to be sexual.
- A teenage girl asks a teenage boy that if he touches himself and feels good, then she asks him to touch her, where she's been hurt. She then accuses the boy to be a girl and asks him to prove that he is a boy.
- While the action is not explicitly seen, a Nazi soldier rapes a young Jewish girl countless times while her father and brothers watch doing nothing. Well over a hundred times, as he leaves cuts on her body every time he "finishes" and her body is covered in scars.

- Over all there is a eerie and dark tone for entire picture. Physical abuse of female student by headmaster throughout and deaths of students. Movie is about outcast children brought by their parents to special boarding school where they are killed by school staff.
