Beautiful
courtneycase-8198727 July 2018
From the beginning, I imagined a really cheesy plot and in honesty, that's something I'm a fan of. You can't watch a romance without there being at least something coming across as cheesy or cliché. Overall, I'm happy with how this short series came out. There aren't that many episodes to play around with and I'm glad it wasn't dragged out. I feel like the message was portrayed pretty well and I must admit, I was in tears pretty much throughout. The acting is fabulous and I would generally recommend this title.

However... the ending could have been a lot smoother. I feel like a ridiculous amount of questions could be asked rather than any of them being answered - that's my only reason for a lower rating. I think if the ends were tied a lot better and it wasn't so confusing, this mini series would have been rated much higher overall.

Still worth a watch time and time again
ghaines-625785 December 2018
Warning: Spoilers
I'm watching the show for a second time now, and it's still an amazing show. Great amazing characters whether main or supporting, everyone does their part.

Tan can be a frustrating character to deal with in the first few episodes, and his arc may seem very shaky and lame. But his progression over the 8 episodes makes up for it. The two leads both deliver emotional performances and are very convincing. I still tear up time and time again.

The ending where it's "will they or won't they? Off-and-on again love, does Da-in remember Tan?" is very frustrating at first, but I think repeated viewings make it more enjoyable and fits the story quite well.

I love everything about this show and i will watch it from time to time again and again. Here's a timeless story that's so engaging to watch. A timeless love story just one more time!

a (little) lacking but Surprisingly beautiful
imanica-5208827 February 2019
Honestly, I didn't expect much from this drama. I thought it was going to be an extremely dramatic telling of a cliche story about a guy who repeats the same day. I didn't even like the female lead at first either, I honestly just cam to see Myungsoo's pretty face. However I was pleasantly surprised and caught off guard by some of the plot decisions. The female lead became the complex character I wanted her to be in a way I hadn't imagined it happening. For a short drama it turned out to be a really good watch, there were no useless episodes, and it had my feelings in a twist by the 3rd episode. ALSO if you don't like a bit of cliche romance in general, then don't watch it, its a drama for crying out loud, it will almost always be a little cliche or dramatic.

what it lacks: the acting in this drama wasn't PERFECT, but who really is you know? I would definitely say the acting was good, sometimes even great. and as for the script, there weren't any supper cringe worthy lines or anything, also there were some surprisingly funny moments from minor characters and our male lead.

There are some tiny details in the show that don't get fully addressed, but hardly enough to dissatisfy a viewer.

Honestly with a little bit of tweaking this could've been a 10/10 drama, but for now 8 thirty minute episodes isn't too risky of an investment to try out a decent show.

i bawled my eyes out from episode 2-8
yamicharles8 September 2018
I'm a big fan of Korean Dramas and I've watched most of the ones on netflix worth watching. I was a little hesitant to watch One More Time simply because it was so short in length, I thought there would be no time to fully get invested in these characters and really develop a connection with the show. Boy, was I wrong. I don't think I've cried this much watching a show since descendants of the sun, which says a lot since I bawled like a baby watching that show. So, if you're on the fence about watching it like I was, just take the plunge! It was 100% worth it :)

A Surprisingly Good KDrama
ariellejaranilla5 August 2019
This KDrama tells the story of a man who repeats a day over and over again. How and why? You'll have to watch it to find out, and I encourage you to do so. 😉

The plot was surprisingly good despite the general summary of websites and trailers, which I think needs a little more oomph to spark the audience's interest.

The actors and actresses did a great job in portraying their characters. There are times that you'll shed some tears, get annoyed with the characters, or simply love the chemistry between the leads. ❤

Not Good Enough
PennyReviews28 February 2018
Why to watch this drama? For L of infinite and for the love story. However, even the good performances couldn't help overcome the cheesy plot. The writers overdid themselved with the amount of cliche one can add to a plot. Though the main story is okay and kind of interesting, though nothing original, the additional elements, like playing the guitar till you bleed, constantly trying to remember what you have forgotten, playing the guitar even in a tunel, in the night, cause you just had to...If it wasn't for those things, this drama would have been actually good. Aslo, the ending was kind of odd and confusing. So, 2 out of 10.

Unexpectedly Good and was really caught off-guard
Skullrazor15 November 2020
A very UNDERRATED kdrama, and was really surprised its not well known.

Here I was thinking it would be a nice chill short kdrama to watch over the weekend.. and OHH how I was soo wrong..

I was CRYING by the second episode and I was really surprised as I rarely ever cry. I never felt bored at any moment throughout the drama and finished it in a day. This show is definitely up there in my list of dramas with the overall storyline;

The actors, OSTs, and story-line were all just so perfect and really wish there's a second season. Hope to see more of Myung Soo (L) and So-Hee's dramas in the future.

DEFINITELY recommend watching. It will play with your heart and leave you thinking about it for days.

Could have been a good love story
ginagina-8992410 October 2021
I'm disappointed that it wasn't better. Overall it was confusing. I think I understand the ending but it's not clear. Good thing L is attractive to look at or I would have stopped watching.

Very interesting deja vu theme with a hard twist
benigee25 January 2021
Indy musician, his band and his girlfriend caught in a deja vu story which expands as he realizes the gravity of the situation and what he has to do to end it. The writer's had some fun with us as we are led into both fantasy and psychological twists and turns and time jumps so pay attention. Kim Myung-Soo's acting and singing were both great. Known by his idol name "L" he is a musician and writer who was part of the group Infinite. I loved the show and hope you enjoy it too.

The show is slightly different than the synopsis given here. The timeline was difficult to follow.

Overwrought messy and the structure is flawed
phd_travel19 July 2020
There are some problems with the structure of the plot. Because of the way things unfold the impact is less than it should be. During the first half there is a groundhog day formula that usually is quite entertaining. This shorter drama applies it to a Korean melodrama involving a singer and his girlfriend. The initial comic elements of repeating are enjoyable enough as expected though not hilarious. Things get more serious when he tries to prevent his gf's death. Then it gets overwrought and Final Destination like. Kim Myung Soo is watchable but the director makes him overact in parts. She seems annoying at first but later you get her POV. Things are quite different. Could have been put together better.

This show tries to be different
seveneleven-442699 September 2019
Well the rating I have given is 1 less than what I have given because of its messy and unexplained ending. This drama starts like a normal show then picks up the pace and have many great things about it , but it would been better if it was ended it without streaching the existing length by 2 episodes. Overall, below average.
