Mulroney will play John Carmichael, a former mentor of Marissa’s (Enos) who has taken over the new chapter of the Utrax operation and is determined to see through its ruthless agenda. Welsh will portray the charming and calculated Leo Garner, who is part of the operations team at Utrax, responsible for indoctrinating the trainees. Skeete will play Terri Miller, an up and coming CIA officer who has been recruited to play a crucial role in cultivating the trainees. Howell-Meri will play Helen, and Kiehl will play Jules, joining a wolf pack of all-girl trainees, which includes returning actresses Yasmin Monet Prince as Clara and Áine Rose Daly as Sandy.

Noir City: Hollywood — The 21st Annual Los Angeles Festival of Film NoirBy Alex Divine DeleonThe Noir City Festival has now come of age and the 21st edition which opened at the venerable Hollywood landmark Egyptian Theatre on Friday, March 29, 2019, will this year display twenty uncut gems on ten consecutive nights running in strict chronological order from ‘Trapped’ (1949) to ‘Cry Tough’ (1959). In essence a cannily selected survey of the Hollywood decade of the fifties from an underbelly angle such as only the Film Noir Foundation has the guts and integrity to reveal. Many of these old pictures have been rescued from oblivion by the cutting edge preservation skills of the UCLA film department.
Think the 1950s were buttoned-down and conservative? Think again.
In the 2019 edition of Noir City: Hollywood you will experience the rush — through a lens, darkly — of a turbulent and transitional time in American history, culture, and cinema. Nothing would ever be the same.

Vikram Motwane's Trapped is the story of a man who becomes locked in his flat hundreds of feet above the bustling metropolis of Mumbai with no one to save him or even miss him. Starring Rajkummar Rao
Directed by Vikramaditya Motwane
What would you do if you were trapped in a highrise for days without food, water or company? Eat a bird although you are vegetarian? Check. Drink your own urine to quench your thirst? Check. Talk to a rat for company’s sake? Check.
The incredibly gifted Rajkummar Rao, no stranger to internalized performances , immerses himself into the judiciously assembled plot with such radiant authenticity that after a while we cease to watch the skill that underlines the outstanding performance. All we see is the suffering of the trapped soul, his desperation to get out of that apartment where Shourya is locked away far from civilization though not even a road away from the bustle.
Unlike other great survival dramas like Robert Zemeckis’ Castaway or Ang Lee’s The Life Of Pi (the later exceedingly overpraised) Trapped is set right in the heart...

Mumbai is a city of around 25 million people, so it's hard to imagine a person ever being truly alone. However, in director Vikramaditya Motwane's (Lootera) new film Trapped, that's exactly the situation that Rajkummar Rao (Shahid, Aligarh, Kai Po Che) finds himself in after making a simple but tragic miscalculation, which leaves him locked inside his apartment at the top of one of the city's many high-rise apartment blocks.
