When I read the summary for this film I imagined I was in for something totally different from what I got.
Into the mirror feels like a fantasy. A walk through a mind in the darkness. It's visually stunning, full of colors, intriguing images, lights. And combined with great music and sound that takes you deep with the ride.
Given that at this time there are only 2 reviews I'll point out about one giving it 1 star because the lead is a straight man, that the lead and the actor playing drag Jen are both the producers and screenwriters of the film, so it sounds strange that they are not proud. It is true that somehow he looks wrong in drag but I found it ok cause his character wasn't supposed to feel comfortable in drag. That comes with time and effort.
Overall I really enjoyed the experience and will be looking for future projects of them.
