  Lisa : [reads the instructions]  Looks pretty simple to me. You put the astronaut and his parachute inside the rocket, put the rocket on the stand, press the red button, and the rocket takes off! Right?

  Charles : Mmm-hmm.

  [holds up the box] 

  Charles : Then the astronaut jumps out of the rocket and floats back down to earth, see?

  Gaspard : Wow! That's amazing! Can I try it? Can I?

  Charles : *No*! I don't want to launch it until the competition.

  [dabs some red paint on the rocket] 

  Charles : There. This paint still has to dry. I'll be back in a bit. And Gaspard...

  Gaspard : Yes?

  Charles : Don't touch the rocket, don't touch the stand, and most of all, don't, don't, *don't* touch the red button.

  Gaspard : What red button?

  Charles : The one right he-- Oh!

  [Lisa giggles]
