Sex & Nudity

  • There is some talk about sex, such as handjobs and blowjobs. It is part of teenagers sharing their sexual experiences and thoughts.
  • One of the characters is shown looking at a porn site but the site is visually only erotic, despite having many categories. Sounds of people having sex are heard.
  • There are a few scene throughout season one where characters are making out or having sex but everything is only implied.

Violence & Gore

  • In one episode a part of a body is shown and a lot of blood due to it being torn apart. This is the only gory scene in season 1.

Profanity

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Cigs,marijuana and alcohol
  • Main character distributes drugs (pills). They are transported from Canada hidden in cars he sells in his caryard. You also see the group making the drugs.
  • A young man overdoses on fentanyl

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The show depicts effects of PTSD, as well as crime-related activities and deaths / dead bodies. It might be disturbing for younger audiences (pre-teen).

Sex & Nudity

  • In the first episode, a teenage boy sexually assaults a teenage girl. This scene is long, and graphic, with close up shots, and is extremely disturbing and could be triggering for victims of Sexual assault. What starts as a kiss escalates into holding the girl down and forcefully fingering her, as she screams, hits, and begs him to stop. We see no genital nudity
  • A sexual assault in a car, Which is often mentioned throughout the series.

Violence & Gore

  • A man shoots and kills his father, then kills himself. You see the gun being pointed, you hear the gunshot, and you see the blood on clothing, but the bodies are not shown and the shooting happens off-screen.
