First IMBD review gives the killer away

What person puts the killer in the tag line of their IMBD review on the FIRST EPISODE?!?! I unfortunately decided to read the reviews for season 3 here, under the first episode, and someone put the killer in their tag line. So this person hated it so much that he/she watched the whole thing and then decided to ruin it for the rest of us? The spoiler alert option doesn't work when it's in your freak'n tag line. Seriously so rude. Her/His review ruined the whole show for me. I agree, like others, that season 1 & 2 were far superior, but I still wanted to watch it. Unfortunately some reviewer decided to ruin the whole thing by posting who the killer was on this review section for the first episode. IMBD should take it down. Hate it or love it, but that reviewer should be banned.

So I gave this show a chance and then after every other sentence things were being said that normal people wouldn't say. The show feels like the script has zero to no effort put in. Like who looks at this and says ya I'll Air it.

Fallen from grace

I loved this show It was everything i wanted it to be, and the second season was great, than they rebooted it and when i heard the reason i thought it was stupid. But i still wanted to check it out but it's soooo flat and the characters are annoying (most of them i kind of like the protagonist, the "new" girl at school, and the goth girl) the most bothering thing for me was (in "anticipation" for the show ) to cast a rapper in a main role(because that always turns out great(see Halloween Resurrection(OMG what a Coincidence this is called Scream Resurrection))) we will have to see if his acting is good or bad but in his one scene he wasn't very good in my opinion but i will give him a chance i like the stuff with Ghost-face but he feels more like Jigsaw than Ghost-face(AND THEY NAMEDROP HIM wich was a no-go in earlier scream Movies and TVShows(as far as i remember)) so overall a low start and for me a fall from grace as far as the cancellation goes of what had been a great TV Show but i have only watched episode one so far so i hope that it will get better

The first two seasons were better, but i don't get why this one gets so much hate. If you enjoyed the show up until now you'll still get enjoyment out of watching the third season and I recommend you to watch it.

Don't fix something that's not broken

Ever heard of the saying "don't fix something that's not broken"? These guys should've taken that advice before deciding to reboot the series, I loved seasons 1 and 2; the characters, actors and actresses, the story was so intriguing, just couldn't wait to see what happened on the next episode, soooo why did they cancel that? What's good about this new Scream? Is it the boring and uninteresting characters? Is it the cement covered lenses they use for the filming camera? Oh the old mask is back? That'd be great if they hadn't overused it in this episode, how am I gonna take the costume seriously after seeing a kid wear it? Ya'll see The Predator (2018)? The kid wearing the Yuatja mask looked so dumb, but the kid wearing the Ghostface costume isn't the only thing wrong with it, what made it scary in the movies (and even the Brandon James costume in seasons 1 and 2) was Ghostface wasn't seen all too much, but when you did see him, it was in intense moments, not in dance parties (I know the original movies had the opening scene in Scream 2 and the party scene in Scream 4, I never liked the Stab plot). I'm hoping this season gets so many bad reviews that it encourages them to continue with the Brandon James arch (WITH THE ORIGINAL MTV CAST) for season 4.

Might like these characters more than seasons 1 and 2

I'll admit it isn't perfect, but after watching the first episode, I can honestly say I was entertained the entire time. Keke Palmer is a personal favorite of mine after Scream Queens, so I was super happy to hear she was cast in this!

We'll see how the rest of the season goes, but I'm loving it!

Terrible writing, terrible acting, terrible characters, just not good at all. The series doesn't even feel like or resemble Scream, there is no reason for it to be Scream other than they want $$. Also, the pacing is so off and BORING!! The first two seasons aren't masterpieces but at least they were fun and entertaining. This was just bad, and not even in a fun way....

Season 3 brings the heat!

After an infuriatingly long hiatus, Scream comes roaring back to life with renewed vigor and a fresh new cast. While the first two seasons were fun, S3 raises the bar with gory (and creative!) new kills, tighter writing than the series is used to, and a stacked cast including Mary J. Blige, Tony Todd, RJ Cyler and Keke Palmer.

Additionally the pacing this season is far more suited to a slasher series (probably due to the condensed ep count) and the kills have so far been far more spectacular. One in particular at a silent disco is gloriously gore-iffic.

All in all, the season is starting strong and looks like it's only gonna get crazier. Welcome back Ghostface!

Got the vibe right

It's got the right horror/comedy/self aware vibe going on that's classic scream. Acting was a bit stiff and the storyline was way too cliche. Not bad though.

Whew boy. The first two seasons were a guilty pleasure for me. They were corny and off the wall, but I LOVED the show. The characters, the actors, the ridiculousness. I was disappointed that they were rebooting the show but I was definitely excited once I saw the new cast and the producers backing the show. In reality, this new season is maybe one of the worst shows I've ever watched. The acting is abysmal, the "meta" dialogue is just downright awful. None of the characters are likable and the plot is far worse than I could've expected. I'll give the season a chance and see it through but I'm not counting on there being a season 4 after watching this trainwreck.

So it has an interesting way of bringing in ghostface, more so than the previous series... Was it me or was candyman at the beginning? I like the characters so far two who died I was on board with.... part 2 next....

Ghostface Kills Fast

This Episode begins with Becky, she got called by a anonymous number. Deion is running on his way to school. Tommy got killed on a cruel way by Ghostface. Deion goes to the parking lot. Liv and Deion got send to detention. Deion got electrocuted by Ghostface. Deion got threatened by Ghostface. Amir and Deion go to Shane his party. The silent disco starts. Liv smashed Avery in his face. Deion tells the story about his brother Marcus. Avery got killed on a very cruel way by Ghostface. Solid Episode of Scream Season 3, really solid start of this Season. The cruel aspects already have showed some bloody moments!

Horribly written, horribly acted, zero tension. Both Wes Craven and Kevin Williamson would be embarassed by this garbage.

Wow, this was bad. The best recommendation about Scream: "revival" was it? Is to forget it ever existed. Unfortunately this, for whatever neglectful reasons, was pushed through in place of the finalé to Lakewood. While that is bad in it's own rights, my eyes simply want their time back after watching what should have never made it beyond a hack-amateur's personal (private rather) youtube video, which is unfortunately more of an offense to youtube videographers everywhere than ... Whatever this is.

The original scream revived the slasher genre, this is a disgrace. the first two seasons were a bit of a guilty pleaser, but this third season has some of the worst writing and acting i've ever seen. one line from the script was "dude he's a badass. he's had a mustache since the third grade." even kiki palmer isn't bringing her A game here. also the idea of who the killer is and why just makes it more pretty little liars than scream. this should have stayed dead

Most reboots suck, but not this one

I really enjoyed what seasons 1 and 2 had to offer, even if they weren't on par with what Craven brought to the table, especially when Ghostface wasn't the mask. Season 3, however, revives the series for the better. While there are some aspects that I do dislike, the sometimes choppy writing in particular, the overall feel is exactly the kind of reboot us Scream fans wanted. To top it off, this one actually brings back the real voice and Ghostface, along with some gnarly kills and a pretty solid story line. I'm pretty sure I've figured out who the killer is, but only way to find out is by watching; welcome to the final act.

I don't know what was worse the writing or the acting. This reboot was atrocious, beyond comprehension and just ridiculous. A negative rating would be to good.

I knew it had been filmed over a year in half ago but was in limbo when the new president of MTV came in! So the creators were shopping it around! The first episode is a bit shaky the acting is not good but it wasn't in the first two seasons & I didn't care then either! But the writing in this was really bothering me! Like the conversations! UNTIL.... ghost face gets on the phone! & the stuff he was saying was clever & evil & very scary! Then the first real murder happens & I was like damn they a notching up the gore big time! I will always love slashers I'm a 90s kid! & there's hardly any out there anymore! I think there doing a great job spinning it on its head! At least the first two episodes out! I'm loving the girl from Scream Queens! She is so funny & then a badass then very kind & loving to her BFF! She is my favorite characters so far very well rounded in only two episodes! The lead boy is a bit bland and seems to b just sighing his lines! I hope he gets better cuz he has to lead this show emotionally! The show is a bit " Oh the white Devil" and of course that will turn a lot of ppl off that r coming back to the show but I think it's hilarious! Don't get turned off by the first 30 min it really starts getting better! I really hope ppl who have never watched it catch on so we can get another season!

Disappointing

Loved season 1 & 2. Only managed 15 minutes of season 3 episode 1. As soon as the Trump bashing started, I knew what I'd be in for. From the UK, we don't care what you think about Trump, we don't care about diversity quotas, we just want to be entertained.

If they decided to have a third season, why didn't they continue with the same characters we already vested in? Who killed Keiren? Who was 'Mr. James' that checked into the hotel? Who left the note on the tree?

Why start a whole new story in the final season?

We watched 2 seasons of the series and we really liked it . What is wrong with them to restart the series .

I was waiting to see the characters from previous season and suddenly i found totally different characters. A different story . It make me to hate the characters because they are take the place of my favorite characters.

Season 1 and 2 were great and we expected to see the series continue with the same story line.

Only a sick producer , writer and directer can do that with fans of the series. I stop watching that stupid season. I guess if they didn't make that stupid season the ranking of the series were much higher.

Awkward beginning, but promising by the end

I found it very difficult to get into for the first 10 minutes or so, as it's a very different feel to the first two seasons, and I was upset to not get resolution of the story of those characters. By the end of the episode I felt much more positive, and I'm excited to see where it's going to go.
