I give it a 3 because I finished it. I don't know how I finished it either. It was part comedy, poor acting all around, poor script. It felt like some trust fund baby was bored in his room and decided he would make a movie and this is the result.

The acting in this movie is almost unbearable. Especially christy. She is a horrible actress. I could have done a better job.

I hate to dump on an entire country, especially the one I live in, but this is so typical of Canadian movies. Not enough money or desire to make something decent. Using a lot of Canadian talent, while patriotic, can at times mean getting less than great performers. However, the worst job might have been a non Canadian. Zuniga is awful in this role. She is not at all believable as a mother that has had her daughter kidnapped. The rest of the cast might just have had nothing much to work with and working with an uninspired Zuniga would not be easy. The story is very thin which never helps and the writing sure isn't very good either.

All in all a failure at providing anything entertaining.

The characters were so poorly scripted even the daughter had to wear a cap with "teen angst" embroidered on it. Everything about it was amateurish. Who funded this garbage?

Do NOT ignore the low ratings like one reviewer suggested. Instead, ignore the two reviews that gave it a five-star rating. This movie comes close to being the all-time worst movie I ever saw. One gets the impression that the actors could have done a decent job if they had just been given something to work with. Instead, they were given lines that nobody would say in real life and situations to act out that were totally stupid. If you are no more than 15 years old, it might be entertaining. I got the impression that the screenwriter must have been about that age.

I can't believe I finished it but everything was terrible. The end scene where the daughter, Christy, runs up to greet her mom like it was the first time they had seen each other since the kidnapping when in fact they were just together before that was beyond confusing. Then the laughing and high fives after nearly dying made me cringe. None of the acting was believable. I hate being critical but I feel like this could've been done so much better. The storyline was confusing although it didn't really have to be. There were just so many things about it that I can't last them all. To be blunt, when I watch a movie and the characters don't seem to believe their own story, the movie becomes painful to watch.

The movie generic,dry. No substance at all. The actors may have well been taking classes for drama. This was predictable, beyond unbelievable. The mother's reaction to her daughter's disappearance was so dry...I needed water. Terrible.

Scooby Doo?

I'm pretty sure I just watched an episode of Scooby Doo instead of a movie meant for anyone over five years old. Did mint chocolate ice cream really lead to solving the mystery? The writing was laughable, and the actors who took these roles should be embarrassed. I can't even...

This was one of the most confusing and dull movies I have ever watched. Twenty minutes in, I still had no idea who the characters were or what connection any of them had to one another and afterwards I still didn't care. The acting is on par with that of any ABC Family or Lifetime movie but somehow worse.

I cant even credit one decent plot point, actor, or actress in this... they're all AWFUL even for a Lifetime movie. I agree with the reviewer who said this looked like a student film project. But i think students in film school actually make better work. The choices they made in this film were laughable too, even for lifetime. The idiot daughter put her phone on speaker leaving a message for the mom, so she must have known she was going to get seen and caught by the kidnappers. She could have easily whispered Teri's name or the descriptions/name of the kidnappers into the phone or texted it to her mom really quickly or SOMETHING before they caught her so her mom would know who was in on it right away. (she knew their names too since Teri introduced them) That would have made the move 4 times shorter and you could save over an hour of your life from watching it play out in the slowest and most dumb/ boring way possible. Also who calls it "chocolate chip mint"? Lol Thats such a backwards way to say "mint chocolate chip" ice cream which is how Ive heard everyone else say it. But I am not American so maybe thats how Americans say it.

This movie didn't even deserve one star. The actors in this movie are absolutely horrible. I wouldn't recommend this movie to anyone even if they are bored and don't have anything to watch. A ceiling fan is much more entertaining to watch then this.

Worst movie I have ever watched in my life. The director should get fired. The actors should get fired. I don't see them ever getting any other job after this movie. I would have sued them for even finishing the movie to embarrass my career for life. If anyone want to ever not get a good laugh and to sit there and literally pass out for the annoyance of each actor then this movie is for you to watch. I really hate this movie. Low budget as well. And just stupid jokes or just phrases that didn't do anything. Just overall hate every actor in that movie.

What a disaster of a film, when I see how bad these actors are, I am inspired to go to acting classes myself ! Seriously , I could act better than any of them , I am sure all the other reviewers feel the same .

Worst Netflix movie ever!

I never write reviews, but this movie was so bad that I had to. The daughters acting was the worst I've ever seen. She was so annoying and just plain weird. The plot was awful and boring. I had to work on my computer to keep from falling asleep. Stupid me finished this horrible just so I can see how it ended. I laughed through it all. Who wrote this script?

I finished it just to see how bad it would get and it didn't disappoint. It featured bad storyline, bad dialog, bad acting, and bad production all rolled into one. I have watched better segments on a weekly tv detective show many times. Seriously, unless you want to watch an hour and 29 minutes of disastrously amateurish film making find something else to do.

Have to say, I thought the movie would've been better. It was more comical then anything else. The kidnappers the worst, the mastermind not so much. It decent enough to watch.
