The 2020 slate for Danse Macabre includes “Antrum” and “The Ringmaster” that will have theatrical releases alongside their home entertainment release on Oct. 26 and Nov. 16 respectively. “Gags the Clown” (Oct. 5), “Purgatory Road” (Nov. 2) and “All the Creatures Were Stirring” (Nov. 23) will be released across DVD and digital.
Marketing and communications agency Strike Media will be working with Danse Macabre across their titles.

Echoes of Fear tells the story of Alysa, who inherits her grandfather’s house following his sudden death from an apparent heart attack. She cannot keep the house so travels there to prepare it for sale. While she is packing away her grandfather’s belongings some strange and unexplained events inside the house start to spook her and she soon comes to the conclusion that she is not alone. Something supernatural lurks in the house and she begins to believe that her grandfather was trying to find something before he died. When her friend Steph arrives they attempt to solve the mystery and what they uncover forces them to confront the diabolical truth about what this “home” is hiding.
Let’s be honest, haunted house movies are ten-a-penny.

Love is certainly in the air this week, especially with our horror and sci-fi home releases, as we have plenty of tainted love on tap for those of you who tend to enjoy the darker side of romance. Scream Factory is ready to put you in the mood with both the Collector’s Edition of Valentine and their Poison Ivy box set, and Arrow Video has assembled an impressive Special Edition of Audition that fans are definitely going to want to pick up on Tuesday.
For those of you looking for some less romantically-inclined entertainment, Popcorn is getting the SteelBook treatment, and you can take a ride aboard the Horror Express as well. Other notable releases for February 12th include Possum, Killer Campout, Doom Room, Haunted Hospital: Heilstätten, Purgatory Road, and Nightflyers: Season One.

Delirium, the production company whose maiden outing was the 2016 Bill Oberst Jr.-Armand Assante hit thriller Stressed To Kill, has just announced it will go into production on Purgatory Road in November 2016 for delivery mid-2017.
Directed by Mark Savage, scripted by Savage and Tom Parnell, and produced by Chris Smernes, the team behind Stressed To Kill, the film has been described as hardcore horror with a bloody helping of twisted “faith”. Set in the American South, it depicts the adventures of two brothers, –– one a psychotic, ex-communicated priest (Gary Cairns; Daylight’S End, Justified, Monumental), the other an increasingly troubled sidekick (Luke Albright; Devil’S Pass, 12 Rounds, Burn Notice) –– whose unconventional mission involves a traveling confessional and a distorted view of salvation. Entering their perfectly bloody world is a mysterious woman (Trista Robinson; The Human Race, Silent Retreat, Malignant) whom, while offering potential assistance,...
