Private Woodhull is stewing and so is the Private Woodhull episode. What works: Woodhull is in the middle of the intellectual and officer class. Like all spy dramas Woodhull is over heard, Simcoe wants the top spy dead, Arnold and the British suspect nothing. A simmering stew of what will happen next? The viewer is left wanting to know more. What is Arnold's mission? What will Simcoe do next? Will Arnold's wife give payback to Arnold? What does not work: Woodhull is a developmental story. Each character's sub-story blends into the main story. Next couple of episodes need an action sequence or Turn will turn into a soap opera. The ending was great left the viewer hanging. 7 out of 10 stars.
