Dutch´s Plan
claudio_carvalho27 January 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Gus meets his cousin Raul that works in a distribution plant and convinces him to steal food. Gus, Raul, Alonso and his gang heist the warehouse however the security guard surprise them and Raul is recognized. Setrakian´s building is on fire and Dutch retrieves and hides the Occido Lumen in a ventilation inlet of another building. However she is captured and taken by the vampires to a facility for pregnant women in a bus with Setrakian that has been also arrested. Setrakian recalls the concentration camps in World War II when he sees the facility. Soon Dutch plots a plan to flee from the facility using the food delivery boy Jeremy. Desai invites Dutch to work with him but she declines the offer. Eph befriends the man he saved and his sister. Fet learns that the other prisoner worked in a silo where there are nuclear warheads.

"The Blood Tax" is the sequel of the new world disclosing more details of the partnership. The episode spends most of the time with Dutch plotting a scheme to escape and Gus and Alonso robbing the distribution center. My vote is seven.

Reaction / Review for The Strain Season 4 Episode 2 ''The Blood Tax'' (S4. E2): Episode 1 was good and I gave it a rating 8/10. Gus is back? Nice. So was the Lumen useless after all? Nice to see Dutch again. I wanna see the team back together again! These Freedom bars look disgusting, I wonder what is in them. The guy who was helping Eichorst seems to be the guy in charge of this ''new world''. People are actually donating blood for the strigoi now? That's absolutely nuts. So the strigoi are friendly now? They don't attack people? What's going on? All this stuff is confusing. Where is Fet? Where is Quinlan? Where is Eichorst? Do they force Dutch to have a baby? This new world is nuts. Overall a mediocre episode, my rating is 6.5/10.

I liked the chaos in the city

Warning: Spoilers
I dont like this new world thing! Strain became like The walking dead in this season, people talking and people are the slaves of Vampires. I'd like that fighting between human and vampires.
