Interesting main character and story, but hardly a movie

"Here We Go Again, Rubinot!" is an Italian 12-minute live action movie from 2017 and the most recent work by writer and director Giuliano Tomassacci. The language is English though, even if there is so little dialogue in here that you can watch it too, even if you don't speak English. The film needed a while to get going admittedly, but then it was an interesting watch. The reason why I give it a thumbs-down nonetheless is that honestly half the movie is opening and closing credits and that was disappointing. What I liked the most apart from the main character was the music that was really chill and fun to listen to. And I do believe that the main character Rubinot is one that has all it needs to make a full feature film about it, including the reactions by press, scientists and just regular citizens. It can be the basis for something memorable, something a lot more memorable than these 12 minutes and I am saying that as somebody who is really not a great SciFi fan at all, but the rainboy eye moment was special. Sadly, these special moments are quantity-wise still not enough for a 12-minute film as honestly most of the time you only see text on screen. So I havw to give it a thumbs-down all in all, even if the occasionsl charm is undeniable.
