Review By Kamal K

A beautiful love story that will leave you feeling good at the end not emotionally traumatized and stressed. The story is simple, beautifully written and the cast bring it to life in an amazing way. The lead actors' chemistry and banter is so good to watch. I was smiling with/at them in many scenes. And the kisses were 🔥....no dead fish lips here! No car crash, no amnesia, no over the top rich in-laws against the marriage, no backstabbing friends, no loose ends. It all came together beautifully! And the best part for me was the female lead though not rich was confident, brave yet respectful. She stood up for herself and didnt make me feel pity or embarrassed for her- which is usually the case in most rich boy / poor girl stories. "This is an oldie but goodie series " The one word that comes to mind after watching this series is REFRESHING

Feel good till the very end

This one is genuinely a feel good romantic drama. The story is pretty straight and smooth. The pace of the show is also very decent not too fast and also not too slow. The story is a bit predictable but still very enjoyable.

The chemistry between the leads is very good. Romantic scenes are amazing, it does not have too much of cheesy stuff but an adequate amount of what a romance drama should have.

I watched it in almost one go, and i enjoyed it till the last episode. If you like light drama with happy endings then this one is definitely for you.

Light hearted fun

This is a hidden gem if you're looking for something cute and sweet. The story is not that original, but the two leads have a very fun and cute chemistry. It's fun to watch them interact on screen even if they are bickering at one another. I also like that fact this drama isn't overloaded with too much. There's family and inheritance drama, but it's not over the top. There's no unnecessary elements like a mysterious kidnapping or long lost brother or sister. This rom-com is lean and mean and it stays focused on the good stuff, which is the relationship between the ML and FL. Highly recommended.

Kissing scenes are the best.

The leads have great chemistry together so every time they kissed it was so romantic. I watched it several times and Moved my rating from 8 to 10. The story was light And simple but the characters are really dynamic. It's the first time that I ever liked Ha Suk jin.

Satisfy all my expectation of a romance drama

The drama is so sweet. Though at first I am not used to the bright color of suit of male lead. The look of female lead is like an average girl in street.

But turn out the plot of drama is enchanting, making me finish the whole drama just by two days. And there are ample kisses in the drama. Relationship of the lead couple grows steadily and kiss scenes come so naturally, not like in Secretary Kim where there are excessive kisses.

Give a watch on this drama. I am sure you cannot stop watching it.

Refreshing!

I generally love watching mystery and thriller dramas. Suddenly I changed my mind to watch something refreshing. Then I found this drama and watched this. I am leaving this comment so that others may know that this drama is so damn good! Romantic, no extra drama, beautiful, cheerful, no boring episode. Go for it! Worth for watching. 10/10

Hot, Sweet, & Everything I Needed

ABSOLUTELY! 😭 I haven't felt this level of emotional satisfaction after a drama in a WHILE! These couples have just been missin that level of Fight For My Way sweetness you know? And the couple in this drama HAS IT in heaps! I adore them! This is such a hidden gem, literally googled "thirsty k-dramas" and Reddit came through with the rec and for a closed door drama that kept it real PG-13 their chemistry was 🔥Oh also a really fun take on the "marriage/relationship of convenience" trope, it felt fresh and well developed. Will be rewatching!

The best romcom with perfect main lead

It seemed like a simple and cliche story in Kdrama, so i had my doubt before, but i gave it a chance and so happy i did. They turned it into a very interesting and lovely drama. I got hooked from the start and fell in love with the couple, the story everything.

The main lead actor Ha Seok Jin is so amazing in potraying Jae In. I can't imagine any other actor for this role. He nailed it with great natural acting, gave this alpha male personality but yet so charming and adorable. I am in love... His chemistry with Jeon So Min is so great that everything they did seemed natural and believable.

The story similar to Business Proposal, but 1% of something is so much better in every aspect.

You must watch this.

Something about 1% must watch series if you love Romantic Comedy...

The acting of Ha Seok-jin and Jeon So-min is amazing in this drama. People says that Somin is not good actress but I must say she nailed it in this drama. It's a story about a wealthy business man who actually is very arrogant to his employees while infront of his customers he behaves like good man (such a double face man). While female lead is a teacher, beautiful and very humble. Something happens and their destiny encounter each other & to find out that you've to watch the drama.

A joy to watch

From start to finish I loved watching this series! And it's got a wonderful ep 16 which often in #KDrama land feels rushed and leaves you hanging. It was totally, one hundred percent feel good and wonderful. Not eeky sweet, lovely sweet woth a feisty female lead. Loved them both! Totally binge-worthy!

Enjoyable light hearted series

Enjoyable light hearted and complete rom com series. This show benefits from short episodes usually less than 40 minutes so it doesn't get too draggy like some shows. Ha Seok Jin plays an abrasive heir who has to date a girl that his grand father picked. Unlike other cliched melodramas the grandfather picked her because she is good hearted not because she is rich. The actress Jeon So Min isn't that pretty but she is sweet enough and not annoying. The dialog is quite funny. For a Korean rom com there is quite a lot of kissing. But of course not much more. The OST isn't memorable. Some of the fashion is laughable.

Compelling Romantic Drama

This is such a fantastic, sweet, compelling love story. Real people in a fantasy land. Imagine a hard working chaebol with a very complicated and convoluted family history being confronted with a demand that he date an unknown woman because his grandfather thinks she is fantastic. Then see him and the timid, sweet, charming, cute woman start to enjoy each other's company (and kisses I might add).

Will love blossom?

Is money everything or does true love trump money, power, prestige?

There is also a glorious supporting cast on both sides, from the hard worked management staff to the fan-girl's coterie of students, friends, future idol, and parents constantly setting her up on blind dates with Oriental Medicine doctors.

Choosing of the dress scene confirmed my understanding that this was more than a contract.

I had a strong clue that love would triumph from the first chance meeting at the hotel lobby.

Ha Seok Jin is not only very handsome, but charming, funny, playful and intelligent. The entire cast was great. This is not rags to riches, but rather loners to lovers who also happen to be friends, cheering squads, ...

Please watch this drama. It's so touching, real to life and had me smiling most of the time. Ha Seok Jin should have many more projects. Watching them falling in love was energizing, super romantic and real.

With a smile on my face...

Lee Jae In (Ha Seok Jin) is was an arrogant jerk that had a very privileged life growing up.

Kim Da Hyun (Jun So Min) has one of the sweetest personalities in the world and is aschool teacher.

In order to inherit everything, after his grand-father's passing, Jae-in would have to enter a contract marriage with Da-hyun. They have nothing in commun, total opposites, liofe together war rough and tough.

Slowly with her sweet way of doing things the walls he has build around his world come tumbling down and a new side of him comes into bloom.

I stumbled upon this drama purely by accident and I do not regret a single moment.

Good drama

This is a good drama with great chemistry and kissing scenes. The only thing I didn't like is the ML is extremely forceful to the point of literally jerking and pulling her around all the time. He's also controlling and tells her she's not allowed to talk to any other men, tries to control what she wears, he doesn't even want her to hang a poster up in her room and he's forceful about it. The jealousy trope can be very endearing but this took it way too far. Even when he falls for her he doesn't ever actually change.

If you can get past this then it's still definitely a drama worth watching. It's a nice length too, not too long or dragged out.

After my 3rd viewing...

I am convinced this is an under-appreciated little gem of a series.

Only sixteen 40-minute episodes but very well-done. The male and female leads, Ha Seok-jin and Jun So-min, have so much chemistry and are so convincing in their roles, it is hard to believe they were not portraying a real-life relationship.

It is also refreshing to see a rather simple love story that does not feel the need to include violence or resort to fantasy to tell it.

As a public service for those, ahem, who are interested in such things, I recommend watching ALL the way to the last frame as the ending includes a montage of some of the warmest kissing scenes ever seen in a k-drama.
