- The Grand Tour studio tent is back in Whitby, England for various complicated reasons, some of which are James's fault. In this show, Jeremy Clarkson tests the Porsche 911 GT3 RS, desperately trying to remain impartial despite knowing that Richard Hammond owns one, and then compares it to the track-focused BMW M4 GTS. Also in this programme, the hosts become unusually ecological as they attempt to create cars made of truly sustainable materials before taking part in what's billed as a green motorsport event. Meanwhile, back at the tent, comedian Jimmy Carr is the latest star to be invited in for Celebrity Brain Crash.

- The trio continue to host the program in Whitby for the fourth episode.
The presenters take on the challenge to make their own environmentally friendly car bodies using the platform of a Land Rover Discovery, before tackling an 11-mile road trip to a dirt track on Myarth Hill to race against three normal cars.
May makes a car out of mud (weighs 5 tonnes). Hammond chooses Hazel and shrubs. Clarkson chooses bones and skin. 10 seconds into their journey, May's car falls apart. Making steel for cars releases 120 MM tonnes of Co2 every year. May now builds a car from bricks (which he bakes from mud and coal) (which breaks the car in the middle), while a hedgehog moves into Hammond's car. Clarkson uses ribs to repair damage to his car.
Overnight, while May repairs his car, dogs chew away half of Clarkson's. They start off, but soon run into a river where while Clarkson and Hammond get to the other side, but May's car stalls in the water due to its weight. Eventually the bricks fall off and May gets to the other side and again digs up the countryside to make more bricks. May destroys Hammonds car with a hedge trimmer.
May decides to now build a car with straw and cow dung. But it has huge blind spots. Clarkson's car started to smell from the rotten carcasses. As they reach the racetrack, they must race against 3 normal steel cars to see who gets the most laps in one hour. The race starts well, but Clarkson's car has a maggot infestation and goes offline as the engine overheats. May can't see anything and isn't in the race at all. Hammond's car catches fire from the hot exhaust and as a result all 3 cars fail to finish the race.
Meanwhile, Clarkson performs a comparison test between the Porsche 911 GT3 RS (magnesium roof, carbon fiber body panels, 4L flat 6, 500 BHP, handles brilliant around corners even if traction control is turned off) and the BMW M4 GTS (bumpy ride, low ride height, no storage space in the cabin, has water injection (which means you have to manually fill a water tank in the boot, every third time you fill fuel), 500 BHP, 190 mph) at the Eboladrome. Clarkson tries not to be biased cause Hammond has one Porsche 911 Gt3 RS as well. Clarkson doesn't like the BMW as he thinks it's just pretending to be a sports car. Porsche (BP 131,000) is similar to BMW (BP 120,000) in power, but is much lighter and hence performs much better. Porsche does the lap in 1:20.4, BMW is 2 secs slower.
Conversation Street: Ford GT, 3.5 L twin turbo V6, 7 speed gear box, 600 BHP, but needs an alarm and a tracker to get it insured. So, Clarkson drives a Golf GTI. They also talk about LGBT traffic lights being piloted in London. Clarkson and May use Hammond as a human parking sensor by packing him inside the bumper of an Audi and then drilling holes so that he can see.
