So Much Character!
johnborn26 April 2018
This series captured so many of the concepts and characters that make Valiant special in such a short time. The actors provided faithful interpretations of their characters with very little screen time. Fight scenes and effects surpassed expectations. This was made for fans, and it delivered. Hope it shows new people how great the Valiant Universe is!

Awesome!

They nailed the characters, design, and choreography perfectly. Each episode is amazing in its own right. My only concern, and this is my opinion, is that some scenes lack the necessary emotions. For instance, if there is a scene where a hostage is locked up, they should try to show a bit more fear. If a character has been given startling news, he/she should be a bit more emotional about it. You guys, for all intents and purposes, nailed it in my opinion. A great way to showcase the Valiant Universe, and i hope to see more of these characters in future projects.

What a great introduction into Valiants Universe
flowerpower-4518813 May 2018
With a small budget and coming out the same week as Infinity War, Ninjak Vs the Valiant Universe is a great introduction to the smaller Valiant Universe. Most people know of Marvel and DC but this series really gets to grips with the characters from the Valiant Universe. Having the story take off where Ninjak is forced to work for enemy Roku is a great way of introducing newcomers to some of Valiants more popular characters.

I take one off for some of the dialogue and some cast didn't quite come off as well as they do in the comics. However what Bat in the Sun and Valiant did do was capture something different from your run of the mill Marvel/DC films and TV.

This series had terrific fight scenes. And there were no glorious stares to the camera or hero poses etc or where the hero gets their ass whipped and two minutes later they are fine. In this series the fights are as realistic as they can be and brutal and when someone gets injured etc it's more realistic and true to life in that it carries on through the story. There are no holds barred and for a low budget this really is very enjoyable to watch.

I so enjoyed how strong the female characters were and in particular Livewire and Roku. Michael Rowe was amazing as Ninjak and he really got the personality of the character spot on. I know a few were peeved at a non UK accent however a millionaire playboy character and spy would be well travelled. Other good performances were Kevin Porter as Armstrong who really got the character spot on as well.

I really recommend anyone to watch this and then delve into the comics and you won't be disappointed. It feels like Ninjak and the Valiant Universe is just getting started and I really hope we get another series or two or three (you'll get that joke if you watch it).

The next big thing is the Valiant Universe, get on board here!
kakooee29 April 2018
Overall, Michael Rowe showed that Ninjak can hold his own in the world of live action heroics. Personally, I stopped watching the CW DC shows this year because they became dull, predictable and featured lackluster villains. The Valiant Universe has so many directions it could go in for a live action series with full length episodes: from Archer and Armstrong taking down the organization Archer's parents are a part of, to Bloodshot taking on the Harbinger team, to Ninjak going after a killer taking down the former Ninja program operatives. That's just the beginning, the Valiant Universe could steal the live action crown with a series based on the amazing Divinity series, or go backwards in time and have a series based on the brilliant Britannia. The sky is literally the limit. Valiant and Bat in the Sun should be extremely proud of the job they did here, as should the entire cast. I hope we see some sort of continuation of this series, it more than deserves it.

Awsome as expected! Everyone involved has done a great job!

The implementation of the costumes of the characters and their abilities, the atmosphere, the performance of the actors and the special effects are incredible. As you ask yourself every time why Hollywood scrap does not get it so synonymous to the series in so many ways. I'm looking forward to it when Ninjak vs The Valiant Universe comes on DVD!

Bloody Cool !!!
shekharnero9 May 2018
To be honest, I've yet not read any Valiant Comics till date and am pretty much clueless about the characters, but I still loved it. A superhero series coming from the likes of Aaron Schoenke (Director) of Bat in the Sun Productions fame (check YouTube for Super Power Beat Down) with catchy tracks by Sean Schoenke, this is a treat for any comic book lover. Don't expect any Golden Globe winning performances. Watch it for the crazy superhero vs superhero action sequences that Aaron is famous for directing and you won't be disappointed.

Note : It's only going to be available only for the next 6 months and then, maybe gone forever.

Fantastic

Awesome job guys! Easily on par with any of the CW shows as far as costumes etc. I really only have two complaints. I wanted the episodes to be longer and the season to be longer! Great job to the Bat in the Sun crew. Next leveled your Beatdowns.

When can we get more?

Do you hate fun?
bravesirryan28 April 2018
If you hate fun the avoid this at all costs. Because this movie is absolutely fun! It a faithful interpretation of the Valiant comic universe (a comic universe that is amazing if you haven't read it) and the casting is spot on. I love seeing my boy Jason David Frank kicking ass, (my wife really loved Derek Theler... for obvious reasons). Every cast choice is amazing so it really feels like the comics I've loved have come to life.

Go watch this. Do yourself a favor. And cross your finger that this is just the beginning.

I WANT MORE!
trimblair27 April 2020
This was a great discovery! How is this not a series of movies in the theaters? I hope the recent success of Vin Diesel's version makes this happen. Great characters here. This movie rocked my weekend! Best thing to come out in awhile! Great story. Special effects were top notch. Action was outstanding. I loved this so much!!!

So much quality and fun. Much needed - tired of no heart, no character and no fun.
rainborn17 April 2020
This is what Hollywood wishes it was - it hasn't been this for a long time. Immensely fun and I just don't want to stop watching. Doesn't take itself too seriously, delivers quality, ACTUAL cleverness and a good message. I can only imagine how much more delightful this would be if they had a Hollywood budget to work with. Some of it's not for the kiddies but if this came out on DVD I'd buy it in a hot second. If this was overpriced, I'd still buy it. Sick and tired of movies with no heart, no character and no fun. Note: Valiant Comics had very little do with this work other than licensing it. If you read their comics, do so with caution. Some are great, some are abominable, verging on disgusting. The old Ninjak series is the best, the new ones are hit-or-miss.
