I was left a little underwhelmed by the opening episode, but based on the reviews I decided to persevere with it, and I'm glad I did. This second part had a pacing, grit and energy that had me pretty gripped. The story has opened up, with various threads pointing towards different suspects, botched Police Investigations, and doubts over David's guilt.
Intelligent casting, it's superbly acted, and as both Daniel Ryan and Elliot Cowan have a line in playing the bad guy it's proving somewhat of a challenge to work out if David's guilty or someone else. Strong production values, although I have had to rewind several scenes where the muffled dialogue is almost impossible to make out.
Second Part over, I'm really into this. 8/10
