October 22nd 1979 - Richard "Pixie" Lowe, a top high school rugby player with a passion for riding motorbikes is tragically killed on the way back from buying his mother a birthday card. Riding another student's unroadworthy bike, the throttle gets stuck and the bike refuses to slow down. Dugald Ross, known as "Boon" in his high school years was the only witness of the tragic accident, being on the bike with Pixie. Many elaborate myths have surfaced among his fellow graduates and the current pupils at the school - St Stithians College. The real story hadn't been retold by Ross in almost 35 years - until now.
